Chapter 127

Sarah blinked her eyes open as she felt the morning sun rays on her. She had never felt this good and satisfied. She is now living her life as Mrs. Sarah Coleman, and that alone is her greatest achievement.

Of course, she works up to an empty bed. Nicklaus was nowhere to be found; she could care less about it, but it was slowly getting to her.

Nicklaus had been out of time for weeks, taking care of business, and he was happy to be away. He had never been happy since he got married to Sarah. He could not wait for his child to be born; maybe that would give him a reason to be happy again.

Sarah’s phone buzzed, and she reached for it. Seeing the caller ID, she knew it was something serious and picked up the call.

“Have you found him?” she asked, her voice deep.

“Yes, ma'am. He is in the warehouse,” the voice game from the other end of the line.

“Good, I will be there soon; just make sure you do your job. Keep an eye on him.” She spoke and hung up.

She looked at the empty bed and let out a frustrated groan. After a few minutes, she rolled out of bed and stepped into the bathroom.

She allowed the hot water to clear her mind, and she thought of plotting her next move. Everything had worked in her favour, and she cannot let Nicklays slip away.

She cleaned up and dressed in a red dress and black stiletto heels. She carefully styled her hair and applied makeup. Her red lipstick made her look bold and elegant.

She stepped out of the house and arrived at the restaurant. Her friends Maliya and Pricsy were seated, and she walked up to them with a smile on her face.

“Hi girls, good morning,” she greeted.

“Good morning, Sarah. It took you quite some time, are you alright?” maliya asked.

Sarah nodded her head, “Yes, just that my husband wouldn't let me leave his side. You know how it gets between newly married couples. Let's order something,” she spoke.

"Sarah, I really admire your marriage. I can't believe you finally found your soulmate; that must be life-changing for you.”

Sarah nodded her head. “You can say that again.” she spoke:

The waiter arrived and took their orders, which arrived after a few minutes. They ate and had a good time. Sarah had been lying to her friends about Nicklaus just to keep up with her class.

After hanging out with her friends all day, the sun had already set. Sarah bid them goodbye and walked into her car.

“Now, let's get some business done,” she spoke, narrowing her eyes and zooming off into the street of Los Angeles.

After a long drive on the highway, Sarah arrived at her destination. Her lonely warehouse. She got down from her car and walked inside.

“Please, don't hurt me,” a voice cried out.

She smiled when she saw who was tied up in front of her. She let out a sly smile and slowly walked up to him.

“Now, see who is begging me for mercy,” she said and lifted the sac bag on his face.

Her ex-boyfriend's eyes widened when he saw Sarah standing in front of him. “Sarah?” he called.

“Yes, that's me. Do you think you can threaten me and go free? How dare y ok I claim a child that isn't yours?” She asked; her voice was deep with disdain.

“Sarah, the child is mine,” he spoke.

She landed her hands on his cheeks, and he screamed out in pain.

“Those words should never come out of your mouth again; this child is for my husband. Am I understood!” she spoke.

He nodded his head, “Yes, ma'am.”

Immediately, Sarah signalled one of the guys to walk over.

“Take him to one of the vans; we have somewhere to go to.” she ordered.

One of the guards lifted her ex-boyfriend up and bundled him into the can.

“All set, ma'am?” They spoke and jumped into the car. Sarah got into the car, and it zoomed off.

After a short drive in the woods, they arrived at a lagoon. The man was brought out of the car and placed on the roadside.

Sarah bent down and pushed him into the lagoon without saying a word.
