Epilogue

The wedding day.

I stood in front of the mirror, smiling broadly as I tilted my head downward and admired the beautiful white wedding dress that glittered under the soft lighting on my body.

My dress, a long white mermaid dress, was decorated with white glitter.

My long brown hair was styled in soft waves and packed in a huge bun pinned with sparkling hairpins. The tiny curls in my hair decorated my face as they rested on my shoulders.

I couldn't believe that this day would truly come to pass. The day that I will finally get married to the love of my life. Getting married to Nicklaus and starting over again.

Everybody deserves a second chance. Nicklaus, my mother Anna, and Nicklaus’s father.

This is so wonderful. I have found my true love, and I will never give room for anybody to sabotage this happiness.

Jason and Amalia walked with us down the hall. They were also dressed in their beautiful wedding attire. I had adopted Amelia to be my daughter, and it is indeed a blessing.

Just then, we heard a gentle knock on the door, and it was swung open. It's my mother. She was dressed in a beautiful purple dress, and her makeup was flawless.

“Happy married life, Elena. May your marriage be among the best,” my mother said, and tears filled her eyes.

“Oh! Mother. It's okay; you are going to make me cry, and I don't want to ruin my makeup.” I replied and wrapped my arms around her.

“Shall we?” She asked and held my hands.

“Yes,” I nodded. I reached for my bouquet and walked to the altar. The wedding music played in the background, and I walked down the aisle.

Nicklaus looked so handsome. He was wearing a black suit that fit him perfectly. This is the second time walking down the aisle to meet him, but this time around, it was done in love. It wasforever.

“Nicklaus Coleman, do you take Elena Williams to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad times, till death do you part?”

“Yes, I do,” he responded without hesitating.

The priest turned to me, Elena Williams, Do you take Nicklaus Coleman to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad times, till death do you part?”

“Yeah, I do.” I replied, tears of joy filled my eyes.

Amelia and Jason wave, presented the wedding rings. She looked so cute in her white dress. Everyone applauded her.

I fixed it on Nicklaus’s hand, and he fixed mine on my left hand.

“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” the priest said.

Nicklaus and I kissed passionately, and the whole congregation cheered us.

The matrimonial ceremony ended, and we matched to the reception hall for dinner. All the ladies gathered, and it was time for me to throw the bouquet.

“1, 2, 3, go!” we shouted, and I threw the bouquet. I couldn't help but laugh at the excitement.

The flower landed on Zoey, and she held it. She smiled and was filled with excitement. Alex walked up to her and kneeled.

“Zoey Jones, will you marry me?” he asked.
