Chapter 192

Elena’s POV:

I knew that I could keep concealing the truth from

Nicklaus. It had already been confirmed. Nicklaus had the right to know. This is the best time to let him know.

Tears rolled down my eyes, and I was not able to control them. "Yes, Nicklaus, Jason is your son,” I confessed, my voice cracking hard.

Nicklaus was stunned, and he looked at me deeply in the eyes.

“Why? Why did you keep it away from me? After all these years,” he asked, tears streaming down his face.

I crossed my arms across my chest and sniffed, “Well, yes. I had to protect my son. I had to protect you from people like Sarah. You abandoned me. What would you have me for Nicklaus?” I spoke as he continued to sob.

Tears rolled Nicklaus’s eyes, and he became emotional. He quickly found a spot to sit in so that he would catch his breath.

“I had the right to know about it, Elena. Why did you keep such from me?” he asked.

“I...” I began to stutter. I didn't know where to begin or what to say. I was in so much pain. 

“Why did you keep me far away from my son, Elena?” I spoke up.

“Because you cansed me pain, Nicklaus. How do you expect me to bring your son to you after everything that happened?” I cried out.

“Or have you forgotten? Have you forgotten how I made love and you divorced me? Have you forgotten how you threw me on the street all alone?” I asked as I cried hard.

Nicklaus also wiped his tears as he walked up to me. “I am so sorry about that, Elena. I am so sorry. I was young and naive. I didn't know what I was doing,” he spoke as we both shed tears.

“You should have fought for me, Nicklaus; you should have stood by me. That was all I wanted from you,” I said, my voice cracking.

“Now I see why you were always protective. I can see clearly now, Elena. Sarah was behind everything—the theft, the misscarriage, and everything. I am truly sorry,” I pleased, tears rolling down my eyes.

Elena reached for my hands and squeezed them gently. “I forgive you, Nicklaus. I had forgiven you,” I spoke.

“So you weren't with Alex or Sam?” he asked.

I shook my head and chuckled. “No, its been you all along, only you,” I spoke.

Thank you so much, Elena. I love you. I will do everything in my power to make things right. I want to see that I am a good father and a good son to you and Jason. I love you so much,” he spoke.

“I love you too, Nicklaus,” I said, and we kissed each other deeply. We walked into the room, and Nicklaus planted kisses all over my body.

He held on to me, and I kissed him back. I had missed him so much. We lay in bed and made love all night long.
