Chapter 130

5 years later.

Elena’s pov.

“Mummy! Mummy mummy! Wake up,”

I heard a little voice coming from the side of my bed.

“Good morning, mummy,” he greeted

I rubbed my eyes with the back of my palm, and it fluttered open. He was smiling widely and full of excitement. His blue eyes sparkled

“Good morning, baby, Did you sleep well?” I asked

He nodded his head. "Yes, mummy, I did,” he spoke.

I moved closer to him and kissed him on the forehead. I rubbed my fingers through his messy hair.

My baby Jason, wave, had been everything to me. He had been my pride and my joy. He seems to be growing up so quickly, but watching him grow seems to be the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced.

Before I gave birth to him, I knew when his name would be when I first moved to the city of Oregon. I knew exactly what his name would be because his pregnancy brought me peace and strength.

We may have faced so many hard times together, but we still had our good times. With waves by my side, nothing was impossible right now.

“I made you coffee,” he said, feeling executed as he placed the tray on the bed. I perceived the nice aroma of the coffee.

“This smells great. I know it would taste better. Thank you, my darling.” I said and sipped the cup of coffee. I closed my eyes and savoured the taste. It was indeed incredible.

Wave pulled up and lay on the bed. I turned to him and asked, "Where did you learn to make coffee this good?” I asked.

“I always watch when Aunty Zoey prepares coffee,” he answered, feeling very happy.

Wave had always been a fast learner. He is so smart and has never given me a reason to panic. I never have to stress myself or worry too much about him. Even when I was heavily pregnant with him, everything went smoothly, including my delivery. The doctors and Zoey were surprised that I had a smooth delivery.

I have no idea if it had anything to do with the fact that I had endured a lot of pain, which made me stronger, and this was one less stressful thing in my life. I am glad I gave birth to one of the most handsome boys in the world.

Sometimes, when I look at him, I remember Nivklaus. Their eyes and the way they behaved were similar. I don't let it get to me. I always push it aside and keep moving on.

Zoey has been caring and my saviour since we moved to Oregon. She welcomed me into her house with an open arm. She had always made sure that wave, and I never lacked anything.

She took care of Wave while I rushed to the culinary school in the morning and rushed down to the restaurant to work in the evening. I am in my final year of culinary school, and I will be graduating in a few weeks. All of these would have been possible without Zoey’s support.

I am glad that she and Alex are now in a serious relationship. I will make sure I take care of her unborn children like the way she has been taking care of Wave.

“That's so good, my love. Would you also like me to teach you some of my delicious food recipes?” I asked.

Wave jumped on the bed. “Yes, mummy, I would like that,” he said. I ran my hands through his hair and ruffled it. We both giggled.

“Mum,” Wave called, and he looked at me with his big round eyes.!

"Yes, my love. What is it?” I asked:

“What about Daddy? Will he never come back to us?” he asked.
