PROLOGUE Good morning passengers, this is your captain speaking, first, I would like to welcome everyone in Free Airlines Flight SS394. The time is 9:35 AM. The weather looks good and with the tailwind on our side, we are expecting to land in Ninoy Aquino International Airport approximately eight hours ahead of schedule. I'll talk to you again before we reach our destination. Until then, seat back, relax and enjoy the rest of the flight. For the millionth time, Cindy let out a heavy sigh. Lumingon-lingon siya at sinubukang libangin ang sarili. She still feels so nervous as she boards a plane for the second time. "Kinakabahan ka pa din?" Cindy almost jumped midair as someone beside her talked. She just nodded and felt her knees started shaking. "Hina mo naman. Buti pa ako hindi." the woman beside her talked again. Cindy looked at her. "Hay, Ca

CHAPTER ONE

CHAPTER ONE CINDY’S P.O.V.   Naalimpungatan ako nang may biglang kumalabit sa akin.   "Ano ba? Can't you see I'm sleepi-"   Natigilan ako nang mapagtanto kung sino ang gumising sa akin. A guy on his late twenties with brown eyes, hair brushed up and a manly body.   "Mind your attitude miss. Besides, I am the worst nightmare of all the on job trainees here." he said in a calm yet warning voice. "Also, there ain't one person, staff or student, allowed sleeping at this hour. Maliban na lang kung pasyente ka. Ang tanong, gusto mo?" he said with an intimidating look.   "Uh, sorry sir. This will be the last time."

CHAPTER TWO

CHAPTER TWO "Bipartite souls..." he said as he wiped his tears and forced a smile.   "Uh- I beg your pardon?" I asked literally covered in confusion.   He chuckled.   "Knew it. You won't believe."   "No. Of course I believe you. It's just that..."   "It's just that?" he said waiting for my answer.   "I never knew it exists." he smiled and nodded slowly. "But I heard of that." I said.   "And you didn't believe. Who would actually believe that thing."   "Uhm, dad, what exactly bipartite souls is?"   "What do you mean?"   "I heard about it but I absolutely have no idea about such."   He sighed.   "A silver string is believed to connect two persons with their hearts beating simultaneously.

CHAPTER THREE

CHAPTER THREE   "Fine then start..." As in... now na?!   Nag buntong hininga ako.   "You don't like it? Pwede namang huwag na. I'll just drop your grades to 5 and you'll spend another year sa college." he said as his voice echoed through the silence.   "H-hindi po. I'll take the offer."   "Of course you will. You have no choice."   Just then, he stood up and looked at me.   "Wanna stay here longer?" Gosh Sir Lester, diko magets. You mean, dito muna tayo? Like n*****x and chill, kwentuhan about life, coffee together, get

CHAPTER FIVE

CHAPTER FIVE   "Zach Carlin Smith, nice to meet you." The night was completely in silence. No one could be heard but the sound of crickets. Minutes passed yet I feel so uncomfortable. I walked closer to the window when I noticed it's not yet closed. The cold wind enters the room and touches my skin. Rain pours outside. I smiled as I saw a nocturnal bird flying through the mist and found somewhere to stay.   I closed the window and went back to my bed. There's something different, I still can't find the comfort. I just laid there and didn't notice I fell asleep eventually.   Naalimpungatan ako nang humangin ng sobrang lakas. Baha

CHAPTER SIX

This is the mere fact everyone doesn't think about. When one talks about bravery, among all professions, policemen, firefighters, armies will be on the prior list. No one thinks of the doctors and nurses, when in fact, they really take too much courage to do their jobs. Each passing day, they deal with tons of patients and do their best to prolong people's lives. They take care of the citizens' health and help them survive longer, but they still can't avoid misfortune.  No matter how hard they try, time will come their patients die. They'll be the first ones to be blamed by the patients' family without even asking why didn't the patient survived. Without a small c

CHAPTER SEVEN

Haha asa ka 'no?

Nevermind, so ano nang gagawin natin? Loud and clear," sagot ni Dhae

CHAPTER NINE

Is that even possible? "Don't talk when your mouth is full." pabirong sabi ko. "Don't talk to me when
