How yo make her trust him!?

Xavier paced up and down in the silence of the room.

He was glancing from time to time to see if she breathing because her last scream had made him see the depths of her pain.

How could he have treated her so bad that she couldn’t handle questions asked?

It had been twelve hours since she had convulsed and had gone into a deep sleep yet again.

He really was concerned. Just looking at her at this moment was somehow the hardest job he had ever done as an Alpha.

This reaction to the trauma she had gone through, the wounds, the way she behaved was somehow not the normal behavior of a wolf.

She indeed had the smell of a wolf that he had picked off but then again, why was she behaving this way?

How many times was she going to beg for her life? How long was she going to go into a coma when asked questions? How many times was she going to run away from the questions asked? How long was it going to take for her to freely open up to him so he was able to help her out? She was saying the basics as he could see because when he decided to make her talk further she went into panic.

He had so many questions and it seemed none could be answer and that upset him so much.

Taking a walk close to the bed as he saw her move her hand, he picked the hand up and started drawing little comfort circles on it as he was deep in thought.

Jacqueline had put in an I.V. into her arm so as to get more fluids into her body and somehow feed her as she had taken up the habit of never eating, because she was starved continuously, she was dangerously overweight, very malnourished.

Just as he was in deep thoughts, his noticed that her breathing was shifting, seems she was having a dream or maybe she was just rising up from the deep slumber she had been in.

When he looked at her focally he noticed she had woken and she was looking at him deep in his eyes.

She had a nervous and feared look on her face, a normal look he had somehow become used to just during this few days she had been with him.

Quickly he let go of her hand because she was somehow trying to pull away from him and he didn’t want to scare her at all.

It seemed she had sensed the way Mathias had behaved when he had pulled his hand away and somehow she gave him a smile, this was the first smile she had given to him and somehow it was as though he was going to meet his mate sooner than he expected.

Turning he signaled for Jacqueline to come in and check on her, Jacqueline was fast as she, Jacqueline ran into the room and met a smiling Nathalie who was holding a smile to which she grinned.

Guess she was feeling comfortable now, “How do you feel now Nathie?” she signed to her patient.

“I am weak, sore, tired but well I guess comfortable” Nathalia explained as she signed back to Jacqueline.

“That’s okay, you soon would feel better so don’t bother the fluids would give u the energy you want baby” Jacqueline said and the warmth that came with the pet name brought back memories for when her elder sister used to call her.

“I have given you medication to revive you and it will aid your body to heal faster” 

“Okay Thank You Jackie” she signed calling the doctor in a shorter name.

And when she gave Jacqueline that name it for sure showed that they were getting somewhere with how she felt.

She left the room and Nathalia turned to look at Xavier then she signed his name, “Alpha Xavier?” she called and he looked at her before responding.

“Yes Nathalia” 

“Why does my skin feel some sort of emotion towards you when you touch me? I have never felt that way before” she asked still trying to phrase the question perfectly in order not to get him angry or disturbed with the question she was asking him.

She would not want for him to think she was not appreciative of the way he had been treating her or maybe she just was a bother.

“Why does my stomach flutter and why does it feel like my wolf wants to communicate with you but cant for some reason or something blocking it?” she continually asked.

Well Xavier stood there just  thinking of how he was going to explain this to her but somehow he had to ask himself the question, why did it feel like she didn’t know of the mate pull? Did her wolf not have the mind to tell her he was her mate? And she probably was the Luna? Why was everything about her somehow blocked like everything that made a wolf know the basics of being a wolf just for sure sounded like she still had a lot to learn and know?

“Do you know what being a mate is?” he asked her hoping at least she must have heard of certain things like that so that he could go further to explain to her an from her facila expressions it sure showed she knew what it was.

She smiled and shook her head in acceptance.

“My parents used to tell us when we got to the age of sixteen as wolves we would find our mates as she and my dad had been mated when she turned sixteen and he was eighteen at the time” she explained. 

For sure, her parents had made the evenings after dinner a story era, where he made sure they understood what it meant by being a wolf and how they could navigate the entire area of a pack.

It was certain that if she still was with her parents and their pack was not attacked that night she probably would have already met her mate and everything would have been fine now.

“So do you know why you have the pull and the way you feel when I touch you now?” he asked hoping from what she had said she must have gotten the answers to the way she was feeling.

Well that was kind of confusing for her because she scrunched her face together trying to get the meaning of what I had just asked her.

And she was frowning too; well her frown was beautiful hence he was going to look for way to explain things to her although he was going to find it hard to explain to her perfectly.

“Well, to put it in a more simpler way for you to get a hang of it, the feelings and flutters you have from your wolf when you touch me is the bond of a werewolf who has met his or her mate and that bond has joint them together unless one of the mate ends up rejecting who the moon goddess has chosen to be her mate” he signed slowly so she could understand just what he was trying his best to explain to her so she could understand properly.

“It’s the feeling you get when you meet the one your heart yearns for, you’re missing rib, more like the humans would say that the female of their type is the missing rib of the male has met her companion but with the wolves the goddess chose for us” 

She paused for a moment following the explanation hoping she was getting everything to the later and not forgetting anything that he had said.

She nodded her head for him to continue what he was explaining because she still had not understood why she kept feeling tingly when he touched her.

“Well this bond helps for when the two spirits are away they always figures out a way to find each other no matter how far apart they are and when you find your mate immediately the wolf inside of you just knows that it has met its better half and would make you know that it wants you, because you both would have to protect and take care of each other when together” 

She continued to nod her head in agreement; well it seemed she understood just what I was saying.

The good thing was deep down she knew they were mates with the way she was feeling and with the way she looked at him showed she indeed liked the fact that they were mates or was he over thinking because he wanted her to be excited that they were mates?

Then immediately she was excited about the news and he thought he had been getting her understand she looked up this time her eyes filled with what he could only term ‘nothing’.

“No! I don’t want” she screamed in panic she was shaking, trembling as though she had just seen something or had even felt something wrong done to her. He was confused.

Once again in single day she was going back to the world he never wanted her in and he didn’t like that.

He indeed loved his mate and wanted her, but he didn’t want to force it, his mate didn’t deserve this, she was screaming and she ran out of the room this time removing the IV that was attached to her hand.

He for sure thought he had closed the door before having a conversation with her but it seemed he had wanted to go out at the same time Jacqueline had gone out and had left the door opened as he was focused with her.

He knew he had to follow after her but still he had to not make her scared of him if he had follow her because if he for sure did follow her she just might have thought he was out to hurt her and that was not the plan he wanted her to have hence the reason why he went straight for Jacqueline to join.

At least she had left back her scent and he could follow that scent and know just exactly where she was.

He eventually found Jacqueline in another room trying to write something down.

“She ran away and I need you to go after her so she doesn’t think I want to hurt her” he complained and well Jacqueline didn’t understand what had been said so she asked the normal question anyone would ask, “What? Why and what did you say to her that provoked her to leave that way?” that doctor asked as she removed the stethoscope from her neck and well they began to go find Nathalia from goddess knows where she had ran off to.

All Xavier thought was the fact that he was going to lose his mate yet again and he didn’t want that at all.

He wanted her around he was ready to take care of her.

He was ready to make her know that she meant the world to him and he was ready to fight those demons with her.

He was in no way ready to lose her yet again to fall in the hands of those had hurt her before.

She needed love and she deserved love, she had not even healed from the way she was feeling before and now the little strength she had she had used it to run away to goddess knows where?

“You need to help me Jacqueline if you don’t she won’t listen to me she just might not want to be my mate anymore” he said the first time she heard him worry and tremble about something like this and for sure she k new she had to help her Alpha because they needed a Luna and he was a fine man and seeing from his eyes he was ready and willing to do just the right things so that she indeed felt that she was loved.

“Hey Nathie” Jacqueline saw her behind a tree hiding and touching her hands in fear as she indeed didn’t want to be touched but slowly she looked up at Jacqueline and whimpered slowly, she was terrified and Xavier only felt it was his fault for explaining to much to her.

Maybe he should have told her that he was going to discuss with her later when she was better and maybe she just might have been resting right now and not running away from him.

“Nathalia, I won’t hurt you” she pleaded as she signs kneeling in front of her touching her she didn’t flinch back and she slowly rises from where she was with the help of Jacqueline.

Leaning her against the tree before she set to work on her hand which was now swollen from the way she had probably pulled the IV off.

Xavier watched her in her pain, the hurt from her eyes consuming him as well he still couldn’t take it away from her but just watch her cry it out the best way she could fight it.

Looking at Xavier with her beautiful blue eyes it held terror in them as for sure she was scared of him and he didn’t want her being scared of him so well he did what he could do best.

“I am going for a run” he told Jacqueline and sprinted off into the forest.

She needed him off of her and he also needed to give her just wanted to give her just what she wanted.

“Just keep trying Alpha she would finally get to be comfortable with you” Jacqueline mindlinked her alpha who had super far away from them hoping everything would be okay.

Ax who had been witnessing all of these followed his best friend and well spoke to him as a ma would to his best friend to calm down.

He wanted to cry but being an Alpha he couldn’t cry hence he let out his angry howl which shaken the entire pack and anyone who got hit for it for sure knew the Alpha was hurting from something.

“Man she is going to get comfortable with you remember that those men treated her bad and well it has messed her up but she sure would be what you want, trust me and trust the moon goddess she would help” he was right and Xavier knew he was right and he hated the fact that he was right.
