Xavier was hurt!

Joy grinned as she scarfed the meal down and Nathalia’s jaw dropped as she somehow knew that what she had cooked was a meal she knew that he was going to compliment it even if it wasn’t so good but she knew that she was going have to explain to her sister in law what she had made but seeing that she had loved it was so complimentary to her life and she for sure knew that now she could continue her cooking spree when at home.

Joy finished the food in a few minutes and when she looked up at her she ended up bursting into laughter as she saw that her expression was a mix of amazement and also a mix of what seemed to be shock that she had ate of the food with so much happiness.

“That right there Nathalia was delicious and somehow I feel so envious of my brother right now because he seems to be living the life that I want” she signed before she arose from the seat she had been on enjoying the food she had been served.

She went downstairs and returned after she had washed the bowl of food that had been given to her.

“It’s okay, it’s one of the only things that I seemingly can remember how to cook the food I kind of believe that it is one of those things that I watched my mother cook before i was kidnapped,” she said.

“Well I can say that, that was so sweet of her, well it was lovely but it looks I would have to teach you a lot of things to cook as we are here together and I am sure that we are going to bond whilst doing so”

“Oh! Yes please, I really want to learn a lot and I don’t want that Xavier has to come home to cook for me and him” she said a joey tune.

She grinned as she pit away her duffle back where it could be visible for her to see when she wanted to return home the next day because she knew very early in the morning being a five AM Xavier was going to return back home.

“Would you like to watch a movie or do you have a specific movie you want to watch from when you were growing up maybe you had a specific genre you loved when growing?”

“That’s a very broad and far back question Joy as I really can remember that I was more focused on cartoons and Barbie’s, I would love to watch something more grown up, I mean I am a twenty five year old lady now and I know that you would have the right choice for a movie” she said as she knew that she would have been excited to watch a Moana movie whilst growing but at this point all she wanted was to know the newest of all actors she could see and connect with their characters as she watched their movies.

“I will put subtitle so you can be able to read of what you are watching” she said as she knew that Nathalia would not hear of what was said in the movie if there was no subtitles.

Nathalia nodded her head in acceptance and Joy simply laughed because she had somehow frowned when a movie had been suggested but when she had spoken of subtitles she remembered when her older sister would also go the extra length of somehow portraying the acts in the films just so she could be happy.

“I see you finally let Xavier mark you” Joy said with a small smile after she had put on the movie and then set the subtitles for her.

“How did you know?” she asked as she looked a little red from blushing and also feeling shy that she had been seen or known with the mark

“Well for starters you have a very big purple mark at the side where mates are being marked and asides that your scent has changed”

“Oh my scent?” she asked as she looked at Joy waiting for an even more explanation.

“Yes your scent has changed from that which you came with from the rogue pack house at first you smelled just blood and servant before although you had a scent of cinnamon and lavender mixed but right now as you have been marked by Xavier you now have the smell of Vanilla just like in the red lovely cake”

“Really?” she asked as this was even the first time since last night’s marking that she somehow perceived the scent and it was mixed with musk.

“Somehow now I can perceive that I smell a little bit as your brother” she said as she looked at her waiting to be ascertain that she indeed had that feeling and smell.

“Of course you smell just like my brother mixed with you”

After she said that she settled to watching what was on the television it was a movie about love and the way the man treated his wife was almost similar to how Xavier treated her and she somehow felt he was the best man to ever exist on their pack.

They settled for the night and watched at least what could be counted as three movies and she had not for once felt sleepy, she felt excited to be bonding with someone else and Joy for sure had that comfortable spirit she could vibe to and never fear.

“When do you think Xavy is going to return?” she signed to Joy who had just turned to look at her.

“I am not sure but I hope he comes early because you seem to be missing him so much” Joy said with a sheepish grin.

“He said he was to return this morning and I expected by Five AM seems there are even more things he has to focus on” Nathalia said trying to accept that he had work to do and could stay even longer than expected.

They spent the entire day together still and now Joy looked at her watch and it was four PM her brother for sure was handling some hefty stuff for him to not have returned by now and Nathie too had not been able to mind link him the way she had tried before.

When they had gotten up that morning Joy had gone and made sure that she had made her breakfast and also ran her a bath whilst Yvette had also come to join the crew they were now three of the and they had spent the entire day together and she loved the twins.

Joy snapped out of her thoughts as she turned and looked at her, “I am sure he would be back even before you know it Nathie” she said.

“You want to continue watching some more movies?” Yvette asked as she and her sister had been mind-linking the whole night and she had told her how fun Nathalia was.

Suddenly Nathalia’s heart ached, “Ouch, I felt a hard pain on my side”

“From what Xavier told me when he feels pain and I feel it he is hurt, My Xavier is hurt” she said shakily.

She grabbed her chest in a wave of pain as she let out numerous sound of hurt as she was trying to control but the hurt continued and just like that Yvette rushed into the house, they knew that she always exaggerated when things happened but when Nathalia cried numerously Joy knew she couldn’t think her twin was joking she was indeed serious.

“Xavier is serious pain, he has been hurt” she said this time her eyes turning red and blue revealing that she was scared of what had happened.

“What happened? How come he is hurt?” she asked in a managed tone.

“Human Wolf hunters, they have come to abduct wolves and in fighting Xavier has been hurt by their silver bullets”

After what seemed to be a first time after the two times her wolf had changed she had transformed and somehow the first place she went to was the hospital and when she arrived Jacqueline standing by the door, stopped her, “He would be taken care of Nathie, the silver bullets are still inside of him” she said and this just made Nathalia collapse to the floor the entire emotions she couldn’t handle and her anxiety decided to take over and she landed to the floor as Ax caught her with a swift motion.

“Go with her into the other room and try to resuscitate her whilst we focus on the Alpha” Jacqueline said.
