I love you Nathalia!

As she walked through the pack she found herself before his he was in deep conversation with Ax and Jordan discussing something about having to find whoever it was that had planned the attack on him.

She didn’t look happy and Ax and Jordan all knew where this was going to having found their own mates too and even before Xavier they knew when women where mad and they knew they had to go extra lengths to make them happy.

Probably something Xavier was yet to learn as he always took everything on the serious note he sure was going to learn now that having to deal with his mate held a lot of tolerance, attention and emotions he had hidden for reasons best know to him.

He just left and now he was here giving orders forgetting he had a mate who was upper worried about him.

Somehow he was lucky to have had a mate who was deaf and couldn’t really scream out loud because if she for sure knew how to scream he should have heard his name from the moment she entered through the small door dividing the pack house from his office.

She understood that he healed faster and because she helped but he left, he should have woken her up even to tell her good morning. Did she have to beg for his attention?

She stomped into his office Ax and Jordan holding the ‘we know’ look and Xavier being surprised she had made herself walk right up to where he was.

He was going to go meet her back at home.

He looked up from the work before him and to his Beta and Gamma almost as if he wanted to beg for help from his petite woman.

Guilty instantly hitting his composure as he looked at her angry face, he had seen her scared and even worried but the look on the beautiful soft face showed he had probably done something he shouldn’t have done.

“Nathalia” he signed a little bit of emotions hitting his face then in an instant that look that showed that he didn’t care came back, something just like he hated her and didn’t want her around.

Hot tears dripping from those eyes, those shiny brown eyes he had gotten to love. She brushed them off angrily, Ax and Jordan taking that as their queue to go out of the office to let the Alpha and Luna settle their issues.

“You left me” she signed to him ending it with a signed that showed she was hurt and didn’t like what he had just done.

“I-I-I” he began to say but no word concrete left his mouth and she cut him off, she really didn’t need him explaining anything.

“No, you freaking left me, as if you are avoiding me? I was worried why didn’t you wake me to tell me you were properly healed, is this how we are going to be? Do I have to beg for the emotion and attention you show to me? I was there, I watched you have a convulsion, I watched you have numerous seizures, blood was gushing from you and I shared every pain you had an di stayed by you yet you left me alone Xavier Chadson Hills?”

“Nathalia” he called but she wasn’t done with what she had to say to him, “You didn’t bother waking me up, do I look ugly to you that you wish you dint have to see me? Am I not worth your love?” she asked and still didn’t give him the way to answer because anger was reaping through her she was glaring at him, somehow she wished she could say out her words the way they normally had to come out so he would understand better.

“I know I am the worst mate to ever exist but I am literally trying, Jacqueline told me just few minutes ago that it was because I tried and I possessed something that’s why you healed faster than normal so couldn’t you wake me up? I know she told you, I am freaking trying okay, I really am” she said this time tears dripping even more from her eyes as he was now breaking his heart was breaking, her hurt was shattering him.

He had not imagined that his actions could cause so much pain.

Maybe this was the kind of things his grandfather had told him about and sometimes he seems to have forgotten and he seemed to indeed be going a step further and three times backwards as he hurts her without even knowing he had hurt her.

“I am trying and all you do is avoid me, you went for alpha duties for two days and returned almost a dead man I was there and you know how I deal with hurt and pain, you sent your sister to come be with me and the next minute you were creakingly shot and still you don’t think I deserve to share in both your happy and sad moments?”

She couldn’t hold it in anymore and he had gotten up from where he was seated and was slowly walking towards her the tears rolling down her cheeks.

“I didn’t mean to hurt----” she raised her hand up yet again stopping him from uttering a word from her mouth.

“I stayed with you and you left, I was trying, I trusted you to stay, it’s hard for me to trust anyone the way I am beginning to trust you, am I doing too much? You are my mate and I really want to trust you but it seems I am doing something wrong, you are my mate and I am supposed to trust you right? I want to trust you and build with you but you aren’t letting me do that” she stopped as her heart hurt with pain, she was hurting from deep and he was feeling that too but he had to hold himself up.

He had hurt her and he couldn’t be weak now. He could feel the hurt and he had to find a way to make her feel better and not break down at her pains.

He was in front of her, he held her and embraced and in order to make her happy or cajoled to feel she was loved and valued by him he began to kiss her she was taken aback and she began to fall for the kiss and emotions that riled up from within as she sent her hands round him but then the anger came back and she couldn’t believe he was using a kiss to make up for making her feel undervalued and not worthy. She was mad at him and he had to make up properly and not just with a kiss.

“No--”

She said as she took a step back from him and she watched his expression darken from his blue to silver and he licked his lips a little frustrated as he didn’t know what to do now, or maybe he knew and just didn’t know he could use them.

Words!!

“No?” he asked his brows clouded as he wanted the kiss to speak the words he had in his mind.

“Yes Xavier, No, you don’t get to make up to me with a kiss because you can’t use your mouth to speak out words of emotions and warmth, that’s not fair”

He takes yet another step before her hoping he could touch her but instantly she moved backwards this time she wiped the tears dripping from her eyes hoping it was just the last to drip from her eyes to make him know he didn’t have to treat her as though she was begging for affection.

She could see the hurt swimming in his eyes but she wanted him to use his words he could talk, he could show the emotions in many ways but not a kiss.

“Nathalia” he called out his face shrunken with hurt. Good now he knew how she felt and he should make things right.

“Yes?” she replied waiting silently to hear what he had to say and it better not be what could make her hate him for not treating her as she expected.

“I am deeply sorry I hurt you today and even on the other days” he said a sad expression coming up on his face.

“I know that you are trying, I am sorry I left early today without thinking of you and your feelings, I feel bad having to make you feel like you meant nothing to me I somehow thought you needed the rest especially after Jacqueline explained what you had done for me, I just wanted you to rest but didn’t know that you would feel this hurt”

She began to fidget with her fingers, indeed she had wanted this apology, but why was she feeling nervous, didn’t she deserve this apology? She for sure deserved it right?

“Please you should never think you are a terrible mate, you are perfect and okay for me” he said sending his hand to touch her and this time she didn’t shift back she rather moved closer.

“Please don’t lie to me Xavier” she said hoping he indeed was not lying she was the worst mate ever.

“I got shot it was accident I promise you, it will never happen again, I was caught up in my own thoughts and I got shot by this hunter for the Haggled Pack”

“With what you did today I somehow can’t trust you just yet, I just feel like you would leave me I just don’t want to be left again just as my parents and sister left me”

“I won’t leave you, I want you and no one else, you make me happy and yes you have made me show emotions I have never shown anyone and I know that’s making me a better person”

“Why do you really love and need me? Am I not just a burden to you I seem to always be weak and dizzy and need help with a lot of things yet you love me and want me to be your mate?”

He finally closed the gap between them instantly this time his lips met hers again and she accepted them this time wholeheartedly kissing her softly that made her have goose bumps.

She wished she could remain here forever and never leave because he indeed made this kiss something she wanted forever.

He stepped back giving her the grin she had become used to when it came to him.

“I know I become a big old jerk from time to time, not showing emotions and making you feel happy but I promise you I will get your trust and I also am going to make sure you love me till you can’t anymore because that’s just how much I love you, I just want you to know I literally worship the ground you walk on and as my mate I am sorry for having made you think that you aren’t worth it but everything you need ill work on myself and give you that I promise you”

Her mouth flew open at that declaration and she wished she could see the moon goddess to thank her for this blessing of a good mate who had not yet rejected her for the burden she indeed was when she came and is still at this moment and time.

“I love you Nathalia” he said and those words came to her as a dream, this man had fallen in love with some like her?

Goddessssss!!!! Was all her mind could scream out, she had found the one even when she wasn’t looking?

She fell into his arms her anger far gone and love feeling her heart as she felt his heart beat faster than she normally had ever heard….indeed she was loved and she wanted to remain here forever.
