Promises!

How could he still be looking for her? Why had he not thought she had been captured and killed as she had ran away?

With the way she was malnourished and left with nothing but bones and a few broken ribs, why did he think it was perfect to come looking for her still?

“We had another couple of rogues come to tell us that they didn’t think you were dead because somehow Derrick could feel your presence and I don’t know why he has such a feeling about you when he had not been able to penetrate or mark you” Xavier said as he continued to explain to her what had happened.

Oh Goddess! Why could Derrick not leave her alone? Why did he think that he still had a ho9ld on her life?.

“How did he get my scent past your territory, you have marked me and the rogue scent is gone, the blood and wounds all healed and I smell like vanilla and musk, that’s you and I mixed in one right?” she asked nervously looking at him and he could see the scare in her eyes and goddess he didn’t like seeing her like that.

“Well he could smell you in many other packs because I had made sure to go with your bloodied rogue smelly clothes and just tore a piece of the dresses and threw them amongst the packs so as to confuse him while we finally make up a perfect plan of making him pay for what he has done to you” he said to her and she was taken aback.

She had not expected that he was going to go that far to protect her with what he had done.

For sure she could see that she for sure meant so much to him with just that.

“It was on the day I got shot, I didn’t mean to get shot as I have apologized to you about that I was just distracted and I wasn’t paying mind to what I was doing and I guess a rogue or a wolf hunter had shot me thrice but Jordan, Ax and Red where there to help” he signed still.

“Oh Xavey!” that was all she could manage to say because she still could not believe this love she was receiving, Xavier Chadson Hills loves her this much? He had not been lying when he was saying that he had fallen so madly in love with her, somehow she began to think maybe she should tell him thank you, or maybe this was the final move for her to trust him.

Sitting in silence he was waiting for her to say what was on her mind fully because from what he had understood from this young beautiful mate of his she always had something to say even if she didn’t want to say it, her facial expressions always showed the need to say more.

“Thank you so much Xavier, I can’t imagine what my life would be if I didn’t meet you at the tree by your fence as I was running away” she said as she looked at him her face holding the softest expression he could ever think.

“You don’t have to thank me Nathalia, we are mates and we have to save and be there for each other and for the sake of it just so you know, you are mine and I am going to take care of you till I have my last breath as an Alpha and your mate” he said as he looked at her and she could still not believe she was mated to the Alpha of this big Silent Moon pack.

“Derrick Wayne” she called out his name her bottom lip shivering as she closed her eyes and remembered those nights he could finally have his lips on her nips, how he bit on them so hard because according to him that was the payment for not being able to have his member inside of her.

Her screams somehow made him happy as she cried and begged for him to stop but the way she said it made him so mad that he slapped her and made her sign his name ‘Derrick Wayne’ the blood from her nips on his lips just made her wish she could hear what he was saying. He beat her even more because she had not used her mouth to call him but rather she had signed and sign he had not understood.

This night he had used a lighter to burn off the wounded nips as she screamed even more begging at best as she could while they all just sat there laughing and having their evening drinks.

“Derrick Wayne is the most wanted rogue leader by both the human hunters and werewolves, kidnapped you?” He knitted his teeth as he now remembered that name had been mentioned numerous times as he grew.

His eyes showing from the shiny silver to bluish and she knew that he was trying to hold in his emotions.

She nodded as she became scared by the second as he was trying to control his emotions.

He was to lose control but instead he didn’t lose control, he rather calmed himself down as he pinched the bridge of his nose and his eyes returned back to Blue.

“I have been hunting for Derrick Wayne for a couple of years” He said as he looked at her now finally knowing the Derrick she had been talking about because she always spoke of Derrick but somehow he was focused on her healing that he had never known that she was talking about the man he had been looking for.

“Why have you been looking for him?” she asked.

“For beginners he is responsible for many destructions and impromptu fights on multiple packs and now I somehow remember that the day you might have been kidnapped news got to us but we couldn’t find him” he explained.

“Oh my” she signed she was now shaking.

“Not to mention that he was born in the pack where my grandmother was born, her parents had treated her so badly and his father was also a help to her losing her hearing just like you and that was the reason why I know how to sign, and as time went on he had detached himself from the pack and formed his own with numerous youngsters following him because of the promises he made to them” he explained.

She closed her eyes trying to control the way she was feeling, dizziness hit her and slowly she felt Xavier’s hands on her face.

“I promise you my angel he won’t hurt you ever in his life, I promise you” he said and she opened her eye meeting his as he was looking deep into her soul “Yes Xavey, I believe you” she said.

Of course she had finally trusted this man, he had taken three bullets just so she could be saved, he ahd decided to make her scent everywhere so they couldn’t find her. The love and dedication he had shown to her in just two months of her being in his pack was crazy and she was here for it.
