Advice from Grandpa

“Oh Hells” he growled when his grandfather told him it was going to be hard to mark her if she had not trusted him the way she normally had to so as to allow him mark her as any wolf is given the chance to mark their mates when they are found and for the Luna and Alpha its always some big celebration except they don’t want it big and decide to do it privately.

Like probably when they are mating and the wolves decide to take their mating moment to some deeper level so he alone can view how she becomes his and just his alone till they are finally free from their life length in the wolf world.

“Hey Xav, use better language you still are before your grandfather and not with your friends” his grandfather said as his grandson had used the ‘f’ word without even knowing.

“And also I know your horny hormones just want to jump into her but you will definitely need to calm your groins force till she gives you the go ahead and if your treat her perfectly trust me she is going to give you what you want and you won’t be looking like a lost and unmated young man before me” his grandfather causing Mathias to as indeed if it was just him the night they had met with Nathalia he should have jumped her bones and marked her already but from the way things were turning out if he would have tried stuff like that he just might have lost her because she would not have wanted to be with him because she would have known that he must have just assaulted and used her just the same way as she had been used when at the rogues camp.

And the trust she was willing to have with him now was never going to happen. And hse would have rejected him as her mate and when he would have been rejected the Silent Moon might have just lost their leader as he probably would have died or become a terror no one was going to handle and the only persons who had the go ahead to make sure that they could save him would have been Nathalia and the Moon goddess and sometimes if the moon goddess was not happy with what had happened to the person in question she would have killed the Alpha and that would be the end of Xavier Chadson Hills.

So it was great that he had some control and not excited to do the things that could hurt someone.

“She will warm up to you Xavier just give her times and believe me once she trust you I am not sure you would visit my front porch to ask me questions as to how you have to handle your mate” his grandfather said  as he watched his grandson’s face intently.

He had lived so long enough that he was able to handle him and give him mate and growth advice and that just made him happy to be able to get to this stage.

“Thank you Grams” he said in a smiling tone. Since she had been found he had been bothered even when Jacqueline had made him to know that she was his and she was going to trust him if she was given the chance but hearing from his grandfather, it just gave him that feeling that indeed he was lucky to have found Nathalia because even though he had not said it, he felt that the others knew that she held a certain power to her.

For the fact that she had gone through all of what she had gone through and was back and still had the strength to still be alive right now it was enough to make him know that happiness wither was a thing he was going to get used to and she too was supposed to be happy with him because he would make sure she knew she was worth it.

“Anytime my little boy” his grandfather said chuckling at how he had pouted his lips he hated being called that but his grandfather was the only one given that grace to give him such a pet name even his mother knew better but she knew he could do nothing to her she birthed him.

“And also before you go I believe you deep down in you that what she has told you is just the tip of the iceberg she hasn’t told you the real parts. I want to urge you to know that she isn’t going to tell you everything at the same time she will tell you just what she is comfortable to tell you at a moment so you definitely have to be a good listener, your grandmother took five years in order to let me know what was done to her and I listened and comforted her because I didn’t force her” he said hoping his grandson did not go further to go and say something he wasn’t supposes to say and then hurt her and make her even more scared of him than she normally was.

Xavier nodded taking everything to heart as he knew for sure he had to make her comfortable and the fact that she had already accepted him was forge ahead it meant she was going to let him in slowly.

“And then we cane mate and mark her” Mathias said and all he could do was laugh because even though he could control his sexual urges it felt Mathias was impatient and wanted his mate so badly.

As he turned into the bush like road heading back to his pack house he decided to ask Jacqueline when she was going to return home, probably that was going to be yet another route he had to use.

“Hi Jacqueline how are you?” he mind linked her as he kept his strides steady.

“Yes Great Alpha” she replied in a joking yet not too playful tone.

“When is Nathalia free to return home?” he asked straight to the point.

“She can return with you this evening even though she wanted me to ask you if she could live with me for a while  before she came to your house” she hesitantly said the last part.

“Oh! She said that?” he replied a little sad in the way he had said it. He had expected her to want to be with him so she could know him better but whatever was there to make her happy he was going to do it. Just as his Grandfather had said she shouldn’t be forced into doing what she didn’t want to do.

“But don’t bother Alpha I would try to convince her so she knows that being with you is the best since she says she has accepted you the best thing for her to do is so that she gets to know you even better” Jacqueline said but Xavier knew if that was done it would mean he had used his Alpha power to force her into staying with him and he didn’t want to break the first step of trust and respect she had started to have for him.

“I see, but don’t push her Jackie, let her make her choices the way she pleases and whichever makes her comfortable okay?” he said calmly his heart wanted her safe and he wasn’t going to shatter the peace she was building already.

“Alpha Xavier?” she called his name as she was confused, indeed she had expected him to force her to return home with her but here he was refusing and wanting her to be comfortable with the choices she had chosen.

“Yes Jacqueline, if she really isn’t comfortable with having to stay with me right now there is no need for me to make her feel like she is obligated when she isn’t comfortable she isn’t property, she is my mate and she has feelings” he said and if he was by Jacqueline he could see the way her emotions changed on her face because she indeed was impressed.

A pang of sadness shit through him when he said those words but it was just for a while she indeed had to be with the once she was comfortable with before she wanted to come back to him, he knew when she was going to come to him it meant he for sure had done a lot with her healing and he knew she was going to be pleased with the space he had given her to heal.

He knew he was going to visit her while she was with Jacqueline and he knew when he visited her he would let her know that he cared and wanted her to be his without fears.

“Okay Alpha I won’t force her to come be with you and want you to know she is healing for sure, the fact that she had accepted you as her mate a step to show you that you are gradually becoming that man that she had finally trusted and she for sure loves you although she hasn’t understood how her feelings work because when you aren’t here she discusses only about you and that makes me happy” she said hoping that what she had told him was going to make him know that she indeed was getting to want him around.

“Is she awake or asleep?” he asked.

“Oh well she just fell asleep she was reading but I guess she got tired and slept off with the book on her chest. Why did you ask Alpha?” she asked as she waited for his response.

“Oh well I had promised her after my pack duties I was going to come visit her and make sure to read some stories to her” he said hoping he didn’t sound so cheeky with the way he had indeed fallen in live in the bask of just two weeks some days.

“The see you in a little bit because she sure does not sleep for long during the day unless she went unconscious because she loves the books she reads” the Doctor said encouraging him to make his way to the hospital room.

He had bent down and had harvested a bunch of roses and tulips from the pack garden he had made his walk to the hospital and when he entered the room he was greeted by a cheerful Jacqueline who was surprise to see her Alpha with flowers in hand.

“Can I have vase to put these in, I hope she loves flower because I just won’t like myself if she hated flowers” he said as Jacqueline helped him put them in the vase.

He walked over to the table by her bed and put the vase there before her turned to see her laying on the bed and goo goddess she was beautiful, she looked like something that was built at the finest days of the goddess happy days.

She was built perfectly and even the bruises made her so beautiful and she wore them like a brave woman would.

He bent down to her face and gave her a kiss which wriggled his body as indeed he for sure knew his wolf Mathias wanted more but they had to do this step by step no fussing, he wasn’t a kid he was a twenty nine year old who could handle his manly horny hormones.

“Go home and have a good night Alpha she is fine with me I will make sure she knows you came and you left her flowers and you care about her so much” she said smiling and Xavier nodded his head in acceptance as he went to the door stopped for while before he closed the door quietly and left for his house.

“Thank you for taking care of her for me Jacqueline” he said in the mindlink as he entered into his chambers.

In his mind he knew he was going to pay Jacqueline heavily for just what she was doing taking care of his mate with no complains. 

She deserved it.
