Wolfsbane

Ugh he was a beautiful person; he was a sexy looking god when he stood before anyone especially when he was talking and then made sure he flex his muscles.

She was sure he didn’t even know that he was making her insides move when he was talking and doing what he was doing.

For sure she was certain she was winning for life if she accepted him fully.

Hopefully deep down she wanted to talk to her wolf ever since the day they had ran and came here and her transformation her wolf had not talked to her or made yet another entrance.

Somehow he began to think maybe her wolf was there to bring her to her mate but she really wanted her wolf her maybe if she came she was going to be able to communicate with her mates wolf too.

She was staring at Xavier who had made an entrance and he was talking to Jacqueline he indeed was beautiful she couldn’t lie.

“Good morning my Luna” he said cheerfully as he signed nervously to her.

She was the only person he was nervous around, a feeling that felt strange to him at this moment. When he was growing and he had to study mathematics and Algebra those where the subjects that made him nervous as he knew he could be laughed at in class with bullies who were in class.

“Good morning” she responded to him shyly she had been called the Luna. An extremely big title she didn’t know how to feel at this point.

Why had he not sat down by her, why was he standing? She wanted him to come closer to her. Looking at him she saw that he indeed wanted to come closer but it felt as though he was scared of coming close to her and she hated that.

“Is everything okay?” he asked as he saw from her face that something was bothering her.

She sure sued her face a lot to show how she was feeling and maybe he could take that as a good thing.

“Why haven’t you sat down yet? Are you scared of sitting by me?” she asked.

“Oh! I just didn’t know if you wanted me to come close to you, because you always have anxiety when I come close so I want you to be comfortable and not scared” he explained.

Indeed when he had come into the room he would have wanted to give her a hug and a kiss and to make sure that she felt that she was not alone, but he had to let her know that when he was around all he could do was protect her and make sure she indeed felt she had everything she wanted.

Man! As he spoke to her the only thing she thought of hugging him and giving his lips the deepest of all kisses she could ever give anyone she found attractive and thus he was the only male she had found attractive since she came here followed suit by Ax who also had a good body built.

“Don’t mind me, you can sit down” she said with a smile although nervous but she wanted him to sit down, she wanted his company it was warming.

When she said those words before they could finish dropping from her mouth he was already on the side of the bed. He indeed loved that he was getting to her good spot for real.

“Thank you for the flowers Xavier they are beautiful although I don’t know the other flower name but the color combination is so beautiful” she said as she looked at the smile on his face he indeed appreciated the fact that she loved the dress.

“You are welcome and the white flowers are called Tulips” he signed back his smile wide enough to know his heart was jiggling with excitement.

She silently watched his blue eyes shine with happiness in them back at her, she loved the color and she wanted to touch his face.

But was he going to allow her touch him? She could touch him maybe if she asked him, but she won’t ask now, it just might make him uncomfortable if she asked, she thought to herself.

It was step at a time she thought she didn’t have to try to go further than she normally should with their relationship.

“I am coming to live with you right?” she asked him nervously as she joint her hands together hoping that she had not asked him a very weird question.

His eyes jerked from shock he knew she wanted to go be with Jacqueline why were she changing her mind right now.

“That’s if you want to go stay with me, I want you to do what is comfortable for you” he said to her calmly.

Then she stayed quiet, she had to think this properly, did she really want to stay with Xavier or she was going to make his life miserable if she was with him? He deserved better, he was to have a mate who was fine with no scars, a mate who didn’t have to keep thinking she was a burden when asked for something. She could still live with Jacqueline till she was better enough, but deep down she wanted to know her mate perfectly and she dint want to be a burden to Jacqueline who would have to make sure she was extremely fine even if she was in the hospital every day. 

She couldn’t be mischievous and inconsiderate to do that, she knew that she was going to accept that she lived with her because she was Luna but that was going to be bad of her to stress her.

As she had those thoughts a sharp pain shot through her chest and she knew it was her wolf, it wanted to be with her mate and if she refused this her wolf might just be so angry with her and she might hide herself again for a long time and she would have to beg for her to return.

“I will live with you Xavier Chadson Hills my Alpha” she said hoping indeed she was funny with the way she had said those words to him.

He smiled she was charming.

Jacqueline had been standing by the door, clearly eavesdropping and immediately she had accepted to go live with him she came to help her.

“Alright let’s get you ready, so that you go be with your mate” she said.

She signed as she grinned at Nathalia happy that she had finally made the best decision.

“I need to take a blood test from you though” she said.

“Why do you need blood from her still, I thought you had taken blood work from her the first weeks she came here” Xavier asked.

“I did take but I just wanted to take to know what was holding her back from healing fast, don’t get me wrong, she is healing but then again we have to know what is in her blood that was given to her that is making healing reluctant”

She walked back towards Nathalia as she lay back in bed waiting to be pierced by the injection she put the tourniquet on her arm. She drew out the blood into a vial before she remove the injection and the tourniquet carefully she placed a plaster on her arm stopping the blood from coming out continuously.

At least people who didn’t like seeing her blood drip to the floor like the other once who always made sure they dug into her skin to see how she screamed and how her flesh was pulling out of her skin.

He could see the fear in her eyes when the syringe was used in her and he only could use his hands to turn circles which were comforting to her on her feet.

She was feeling slightly light headed indeed the fear of sharp objects. She could feel his hands continuous romance but she didn’t drive him away, she wanted this and it was fine seeing that he indeed wanted her to get well just as he had promised her.

She turned slowly to look at him, he took that as a go and handed her a glass of water to which she took eagerly, no! She was not really thirsty but she felt things she couldn’t explain inside of her and maybe the water she drank could bring it down.

He watched her drink the water with a warming smile on his face and then he helped her take the glass and dropped it on the table before he turned to look at her, “Do you feel better?” he asked her with a smirk in place, she nodded before she looked down at her arm.

There was a small bruise forming from where she had been pierce minutes ago and just now she believed what Jacqueline had said she must have been given something to stop her healing so she could be hurt and then she might have died if she was hurt but it seemed she was stronger than what it was.

“I was right” Jacqueline said as she looked at Nathalia with sorrow.

“How many times where you given Wolfs bane?” she asked carefully not wanting to make her turned into a frenzy of fear.

She grimaced as she couldn’t even count the number time she was given wolfs bane and some bitter stuff she didn’t know the name, she now had forgotten of the pain she had from the injection.

“I was scheduled for it twice a day but the others who were kidnapped with me took it once a day, I was given 25ml whilst the others were given 5ml” she replied.

“Where did they inject you with it?” she asked.

“I was injected on my neck and on my arm as they said they wanted it to get deep into my veins and destroy me slowly as I took so long to do just what they wanted”

When she said this she shifted her hair and showed them the spot which was now almost dug inside as it was extremely black.

“Okay the reason you aren’t healing is because of the amount of wolfs bane that has been dug into you and you still have it running in your system but it is reducing as we give you glucose and because we haven’t been giving you some” Jackie said as her face was frowned she knew anyone given wolfs bane would suffer and die and poor thing she had received this for fifteen year she sure was s string wolf if she could say so.

“They didn’t want you communicating with anyone because when the wolfs bane gets into you it slows your thinking, your mind link breaks, you wounds cant heal and it makes you nervous and scared because you hallucinate” she said and that was when Nathalia knew for a fact that she had gone through a lot just from hearing that she used to feel that way and maybe that why she still felt the way she was feeling right now.

“I am sorry Nathalia,” she said but she had come with a bottle of something.

“This in here in an antidote I made with the blood and some other hers, it is to clean your system you are to take a drip each morning and evening into your eyes” she explained and she turned and looked at Xavier who shook his head in acceptance that he was going to help her do it.

“They wanted her dead and she didn’t die reason why they gave her 25ml, how cruel could they be?” Xavier asked.

After her bags were packed she gave Xavier permission and he carried her out of the hospital room.

His arms felt so warm and homely and all she could say was she had found home and she was happy she was home.
