A drunk Xavier and Apologies

Turning in the bed she knew that she had slept on the floor why was she on the bed now?

The moonlight streams on the balcony for sure made her know she had been carried and put on the bed.

Or was she now sleep-walking? Questions she asked herself because she was certain she was on the floor is being on the bed either she had been carried to the bed or she had sleep walked herself there.

The memories of her mate dancing with that girl came rushing back to mind, but the tears she had shed during the afternoon should be enough for such.

She rolled over the bed struggling a bit because her ribs still hurt although not so much.

The screen screamed a very fat twelve o’clock. Which meant she had cried herself to sleep till midnight? If she had to get better by sleeping this long she didn’t want.

If she kept sleeping this way she was indeed going to be a burden and maybe Xavier was already seeing her as a burden that’s why he was with the girl this afternoon dancing.

She wasn’t bruised and she didn’t scream danger because now she knew the pack was going to be attacked because of the fact that she was with the rogues and they were looking for her.

And the fact that they had come to give news of her being killed if seen and Xavier snapped the Rogues neck she knew Derrick knew she was at the Silent Moon pack and he was going to look for ways to come and attack just so that he could harm them and herself.

Good goddess! Why did she wake up now? She thought as she knew she was going to have to focus on how to get back to bed or maybe she was going to focus on some work or just something.

She groaned as she looked above to have the food she had left there in the afternoon after the small charade.

But she could perceive a new flavor from the new food that had been kept there. This time is was chicken and spaghetti in the afternoon is was some noodles soup.

Suddenly she felt so hungry, just looking at the food her tummy rumbled, so she tried her bed to get up, now that she had not been pumped constantly with wolfs bane she could say her wounds where healing and maybe that was why she couldn’t feel so much hurt when she touch her ribs but there still was a sharp pain there for sure.

She wrapped herself in the blanket even more as she reached and pulled the food closer to herself. She was still trying to have appetite for whatever food that was given to her as back at the rogue pack she was mostly given rotten food so it had messed with her taste buds as she was always forced to eat of it and if she refused to eat of it, it became a problem.

She managed to eat half of what was kept for her as food and she gave up as the food was more than her and she knew if she forced it even more she was going to throw up and that was going to be a mess to herself and to whoever had taken out the time to cook for her.

Looking around now that her tummy was full and her eyes less blurry she didn’t see a sight of Xavier.

She felt strange but not so strange; maybe he was spending time with the lady she saw earlier with him. He had told her she could have the entire bed while he uses the couch.

To be honest she could still sleep on the couch and feel comfortable as she it was also fluffy.

When she had been doing her check-ups in the afternoon she had sat on it and almost did not want to wake up because of how she felt.

She felt warmth and home at the same time at his house.

Or maybe he was just busy with pack duties and had decided not to come to bed yet?

She frowned as she decided to go yet for another exploration of the house.

Yes the one of the day had been breaking but she hoped the night would not make her regret agreeing to come and stay at his house as she got better.

Maybe just going around it meant she was going to feel things and maybe run away from her own fears as they frightened her. She headed over to where her drugs had been placed, he had placed the, for her to which she had a double feeling because why was he being this nice to her when he was with woman she had seen this afternoon?

Placing her hands on the wall just the same way she had done in the afternoon she was trying to see if she was going to hear any vibrations just as she had felt in the afternoon.

She could feel the beats still and she followed just maybe he loved this woman and was only with her because she was his mate and if he rejected her something was going to happen to him.

She got to the door and she could see the light in the room but it was bluish and Xavier was slumped on the couch, he was not dancing but sleeping.

That was weird who slept such deep sounds?

She panicked slightly as his head was rolled to the back; she saw a bottle of EL CASTILLA he had smashed to the ground and the glass by the side of it.

The air already reeked of alcohol; it felt like he had drank an entire bottle of wine a shiver went down her pine as she remembered that the nights she suffered the most at the hands of Derrick where the nights he reeked of alcohol.

The memories echoed in her mind as she stood there shaking, but her eyes were glued to Xavier unlike when Derrick came closer all she felt was hatred towards him but for Xavier her emotions where wild because she was hurt he had drank himself to that state and somehow she also still felt scared that he could wake up and make her kneel down and maybe do crazy things on him.

He had been drinking, maybe because of her, maybe if she knew she would have opened the door for him to explain just what he wanted to tell her.

She sat by him, even though she was scared but her wolf pushed her to have a seat with him, he was her mate and she had to bond with him just the same way Jacqueline had told her.

Maybe this was the time she had to make sure he too was fine.

Touching his hand his pulse was weak, more like faint.

She knew she had to get the drink out of his system, she ran into what she could tell was the kitchen, she brought a cup and then she had seen a bucket, it looked dirty, she could use it, she grabbed his head and then closing her eyes she uses two of her fingers as she sent them into his mouth and he gags as he starts throwing up.

The whole room now had the stench of vomit but it didn’t bother her, she had eaten her own vomit not once but so many times because she had thrown up when given the rotten food to eat.

He groaned after having thrown up what she considered all of the alcohol he had in his system.

She shuddered at the memory of Derrick; she had learnt this method from him as he had sent his dirty hands into her mouth so that she could throw up.

She got him a glass of water as she watched him rinse his mouth and then he finally drank off the cup.

He lay on the chair now as she went and disposed of what he had thrown out and slowly she walked back to where he was and sat next to him yet again, she watched him carefully.

His eyes were watery to which she assumed was because he had thrown up in the method he was made to throw up.

Giving him yet another glass of water he took and then said, “I would have been fine but thank you” he signed to her weakly after he had taken a few gulps of it.

“Why did you drink?” she asked worriedly.

“I was upset” he replied as guilt crept in his mind as he thought maybe he shouldn’t be doing reckless things because he for sure she was scared when she had come close to him, he could feel with how she even sat by his side, she was scared.

“Look Nathalia, I am sorry about the afternoon, what you saw is not what your mind is telling you okay, I am not cheating n you, I can’t even do that to you” he said as he put his head down.

“Then who was the pretty lady?” she asked worriedly still because she knew she was not beautiful at all.

When she had said it that way he knew what she meant by Pretty and somehow his guilt turned to anger, he didn’t want her feeling that way, she was pretty, beautiful all in one and he didn’t know why she did not believe him when he said so.

“That was Joy my sister, she came to cheer me up as I had complained to her that you were around and I didn’t know how to make you happy” he said this time looking at her hoping she believed what he had just said.

Oh Goddess! She had been thinking wrongly of him and his sister because of her insecurities.

“You’re younger sister? She asked feeling guilty now as she knew she had messed up, he nodded and he began to feel bad again with the way her face had changed he knew she felt bad but it was not her fault, she had to feel that way, any other woman would have felt that way if she came in and met their mate in such a position with another woman so deep in their moment.

It wasn’t your fault” he said as he touched her and suddenly she felt tingles jitter her body. It was their mate bond and her wolf had been trying to come out to bond with Mathias.

Mathias was a horny wolf and he wanted to mark his mate so fats but his owner wanted to take things slow hence his growl.

She felt she was a terrible person but Xavier made her understand that it was okay to feel that way.

She bit her lips as tears dribbled down when he touched her again a firm tingled made him to pull away from her she herself was surprised by the force tingle had.

“What was that? She asked him as she now was scared to touch him. She had always felt the tingles that came when he touched her but having to be pushed that way it meant something was up and they had to find out.

“Let’s go to bed” he said as he guided her this time walking slowly behind her as she was scared to touch him and he too was scared to her.

They were going to go find out what all of this was and maybe they could ask Jacqueline first because she also could tend to be a healer as she had studied most of these things.

“Jackie we need to talk by the earliest” he mind linked her and she responded with an ‘Okay’ she knew something serious had happened and she had to get solutions as soon as possible. Anything for her Alpha.
