He slowly left his siblings in the midst of the forest as they were there to meet up with some friends and just do their night games as they always used to do.

He made it back to the house a few minutes later as he for sure made his legs run even faster than he could and Mathias just huffed in a little annoyance because he knew when Xavier was in this kind of mood it was difficult having to calm unless he wanted to calm down.

He got in took some clothes and put them on a she made his way upstairs to the room hoping he was not making any noise if she was asleep.

But when he got the there was Nathalia wide awake as she was waiting for him, he had not told her what was wrong with him as he had ran off and indeed even though she had not said she felt bad she was disturbed.

“It is almost three in the morning, where were you?” she asked raising her head up so she could meet his eyes as she signed those words to him carefully and also hoping she didn’t ask a question that was going to make him think that she was going overboard with the questions she was asking him.

“I went out for a run Princess” he replied hoping she was just going to leave it at that but it seemed she had other questions to ask.

Of course she had because why had he just left with a frown after his siblings came? Did she do something wrong or did they think she was a pain in the ass to have had their brother as a mate?

“Right” she replied as she was watching him.

He made his way to the bathroom and then took a quick bath to take off the sweat from all his run and then came out with his boxers on. She would have been turned on by this but she didn’t because she indeed wanted to know why he had left the way he did.

He made his way to the bed and the whole time her eyes were glued to him, finally he sat at the corner as she still broke the silence.

“What is wrong?” she now asked him with a frown evident on her face. She didn’t like this, she didn’t like that he probably must be mad at her but didn’t want to say it.

“Nothing is wrong with me” he replied now trying to form a smile which came super wrong because it didn’t reach his eyes even for a bit.

“I don’t believe you and I can’t believe you sire are behaving like a child when you have to juts tell me what the heck is wrong with you Xavier, is this how you rule this pack?” she signed and didn’t even know where she got that strength to ask him those questions but somehow he had to receive those questions because he was frustrating her in her pain he was causing her tension and she had come here for him to help her heal but it seemed she was the one who had to keep asking him what the problem was.

“I just had a bad day Nathalia” he replied now not looking at her the same way he was because with the way she had spoken he had felt a firm force who just wanted to be answered and maybe he indeed was behaving super childish.

“Bullshit, I want to tell you that when someone is deaf they get to read people’s minds and movements and with the way you have been behaving you indeed are stressing me up” she signed yet again this time as she looked at him directly into his eyes.

After she had said this, she somehow felt she had done something bad because she had never really screamed at anyone and now she was screaming at Xavier who was helping her, who could have killed her the very moment he had seen her in those woods, she feared he might hate her now.

“I promise you I am not lying Nathalia I am fine” he said as he had read her signing and she had mentioned how he was frustration and stressing and having a little look back, he knew he had been selfish to think that she had bonded with his siblings better than he had bonded with her.

But he failed to understand that Nathalia was his mate, and being his mate came with a lot of responsibilities and adaptations that she had to follow and following them was somewhat hard for her hence, the reason why she could be comfortable with him now and then uncomfortable the next moment.

“You still are lying to me Xavier, I have been lied to for the last fifteen years, people have used me as their rag and toy and what not and somehow you feel like you can do that to me? I beg of you Xavier, do not lie to me, something is bothering you and I want you to tell me” she signed as she was trying her best now to hold back her tears.

Instantly he felt bad, he tried moving closer to touch her but she moved backwards, he was a liar and he wasn’t telling her what she wanted to know, he was behaving just like Derrick who never replied to her but moved closer when she tried to run and made sure she felt pains.

“Xavier you better tell, our mate what the problem is, you now realize what I kept saying about you being childish when you ran out thinking she loves your siblings more than you, you are hurting her and not doing what your grandfather told you to do” Mathias warned as he himself was just surprised with this new behavior Xavier was carrying about.

He normally was never like this.

“Just tell her, maybe if you do she just might let us mark her now because she would trust us” Mathias said trying to make some sense.

“The mate bond is breaking” he signed to her slowly as she looked at him a little confused.

“We have to mark ourselves so the bond remains unless you reject me, I left earlier because I felt you were comfortable with my siblings moiré than you were to me, and as the bond is breaking there is a higher chance of one half finding a new mate and the other having to suffer for the delaying” he said whilst frowning.

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“Well when mates find themselves they have to mark each other to know that they belong to each other but when stayed and delayed and when you had seen Ax today you two were somewhat playful almost like you guys where flirting hence the bind in me began to break that’s why I had taken you to the balcony and then you became too playful with Joy and flirting too it felt like you were lesbian I had to leave so I don’t force you into anything” he said as he looked at her.

He probably had told her way more than she expected.

“I don’t want to lose you Nathalia, you are my mate and the thought of losing you kills me slowly” 

“You need to mark me” she signed after a while and his head rose as he didn’t know if she was a asking a question or giving him the go ahead.

He nodded at her nervously.

"I know I don’t trust you fully but still I don’t want to lose you either, I can’t explain how I feel but I want you in my life and with me, can you mark me Xavier Chadson Hills?”
