Chapter 30

Esther finally realized that they were in public, so she had no choice but to back down.

Savannah and Oliver walked into the family court. When they walked to the counter dealing with divorces, Esther followed behind closely. It was an embarrassing and awful sight to behold. Oliver's expression was as dark as a storm cloud.

"Have you two thought it through?" the staff asked, performing the last routine confirmations. Then, he issued the official divorce decrees.

Their three-year-long marriage had officially come to an end at last.

When Oliver got the divorce decree, he was hit with mixed emotions. For some reason, his mind recalled the time he and Savannah first got their marriage certificates.

He had held her hand so tightly, so nervous that his hands had been sweating. When the employee gave him the marriage certificate, he couldn't even hide his happiness.
