"Mom! Mom! What's wrong? Don't scare me like this!"

A wave of panic washed over Oliver as he rushed to hold Molly tightly. Then, he yelled toward the door, "Riley, quick! Call an ambulance!"

Molly lay motionless in the ambulance, as if she were dead. Oliver and Riley, both gripped with fear, hurried to keep pace as the ambulance raced toward the hospital.

Once they arrived, Molly was wheeled into the emergency room.

Not seeing John, Riley shouted, "Where's Dr. Campbell? My mom's unconscious! Why isn't he here yet?"

Bianca happened to be in the emergency department for a consultation. As soon as she saw the Frosts, she said with a sneer, "Dr. Campbell has three surgeries today. He doesn't have time for the emergency department."

"What surgeries could possibly be more important than my mom's life? You need to get Dr. Campbell here immediately! If anything happens to her, I won't let any of you off the hook!"
