It had been Maxwell who first taught Savannah how to choke someone. She was feeble and weak; in case she ran into danger, she wouldn't be able to retaliate. Hence, Maxwell taught her this move.

It was a more tactical approach, and more importantly, it could be a fatal blow at the critical moment.

Savannah never had the opportunity to try it, until now. She never expected her first attempt to be used on Esther.

Maxwell hadn't bluffed her; it was really a good move. She dug her fingers into Esther's throat. She didn't even use that much force, but Esther struggled to breathe, her face turning gray.

"Savannah, how could you get violent?" Oliver roared furiously.
