In remembering the days of old,

when you're the fresh dew upon my rose;

scents of love sweetened my every day,

my troubled world's even washed away.

The time we met, how could I forget?

You put back the twinkle in my eyes;

though you're itching with a heavy lift,

you painted still a smile worthy to keep.

But today, my cheeks are wet with tears,

for a wound you caused upon my heart;

to my promises, I did my all.

But yours?

You managed not but fall.

The future, how could I ever kiss?

We're put apart and we were not at peace;

so I'd rather live in memories,
