Chapter Ninety Six

Aurora’s POV:

“Emily escaped?” I rushed out, dumping my fork onto the tray, “how?”

Something about the news made me panic but I wasn’t sure if it was because I didn’t trust Emily one bit and feared what she would do to us after escaping or because our Father was back now, and deep down, I felt like she would go after him.

“Yes… And I don’t know, also, I need to get going,” He answered quickly, and then pointing to the food, he continued; “Make sure you finish your food, I’ll be back in a—”

While he said that, my anger skyrocketed and so did my frustration. I paid no attention to him or the sweet-smelling food in front of me as I rushed to change into something a little more… comfortable. I clad myself in a pair of free jogger pants and changed into a gray tank top. Klaus on the other hand, simply threw a shirt over his head and dashed out of the room, leaving me behind. When I was done with that, I ran in the direction that Klaus’ smell lingered. It drew me and blindly, I followed it
