Chapter One hundred.

Aurora’s POV:

I closed my eyes as a burst of flavor erupted in my mouth. Klaus’ mouth tasted of mint, coffee and something else that tastes like cinnamon. It was a combination of three things I loved a lot.

His gentle hands caressed my back and neck while his tongue savored my mouth, exploring every crevice. But I was still mad.

Deep down, I suspected that this was his way of shutting me up… a way to abruptly end our fight because he probably didn’t have it in him to continue to argue with me. The thought didn’t sit right with me, and almost immediately, I felt myself gradually growing angry. In anger, I tried to shove him off but he wouldn’t even bulge. I tried harder, frowning when he still didn’t move away from me.

“Klaus, wait…” I gasped, “stop.”

At the sound of my voice, he halted his movements. His left hand that had once been tangled in my hair froze while his deep dark eyes stared into mine as though suddenly, there was something extremely fascinating about it.

“What is it?”
