Bonus Chapter.

Unknown POV:

(3 years later)

Klaus and Aurora sat by the veranda, looking out at the field while young children played around, young children about their children’s age.

Aurora was happy and her heart felt full… but somehow, somewhere deep inside her heart, she felt uneasy. She didn’t know what was wrong but she did know that she was uncomfortable. Her eyes wandered to where her children sat and seeing how they were still so engrossed with their toys, she smiled.

“Maybe, I’m just so paranoid.” She mused, causing Klaus to turn to her.

He asked her what she had said and after telling him about her thoughts, he let out a breath and muttered; “it’s been several years now, love. We’re fine now. Everyone is happy now… stop overthinking these things. The children, the pack is safe.”

“But the children are too strong.” Aurora cried, “…it would take just one glance at them for an outsider to know that they’re different. They don’t even act like their mates!”
