Chapter One Hundred and Eight.

Michael’s POV:

Anger.

That was all I could feel as I stepped out of the suffocating throne room, sighing when rays of sun hit my face. Greedily, I gulped in the fresh air.

It was obvious that Alpha Damon had more than a few things up his sleeve. Heck, I could feel the hesitation radiating off of him, showing just how much he didn’t want to continue with my plans. However, what I didn’t understand was why he was hesitant to kill Klaus- our common enemy, even though he wanted the man’s throne more than life itself.

I frowned.

My finger twitched just then and in irritation, I looked down at it, pissed that it decided to remind me just how much of a failure I was.

The last time I got into a physical altercation with Klaus, he had dealt with me so badly that I almost lost my left pinky finger, along with several other injuries I had obtained. The jagged skin looked back at me as I stared at it, and annoyingly, it twitched again.
