Chapter One Hundred and Sixteen.

Emily’s POV:

I stood with my back against the pillar watching, waiting to see if what I had planned out would work just how I wanted it to. A few minutes have gone by and I have still not gotten any information regarding Aurora or her stupid mate yet.

She was supposed to be mad. My intel told me that she had been in an argument with Klaus who had asked her to leave the house but why wasn’t I seeing her yet? Had she decided to go against his words? Beg him maybe…? The thought made me mad.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn’t hear the sounds of footsteps approaching and I was only snapped out of my reverie when I heard a small surprised gasp. Immediately, I turned in the direction of the sound and was surprised when I saw a little blonde girl with blue eyes. She was glaring up at me with nothing but fear in her big doe eyes and when she noticed me staring, she stepped back in panic.

At first, I was so surprised by her reaction until I noticed that my dark-colored scarf had slipped
