Chapter One Hundred and Seventeen.

Klaus’ POV:

I had my eyes glued to the window, not seeing, as Aurora tried to explain whatever she had to say to me. I was uninterested, and most of all, I was mad. Deep down, I knew that she didn’t have the guts to ‘get with it’ with Damon but at the same time, I just couldn’t dispel what I had seen out of my mind like that.

When she noticed that I was no longer listening, she turned and left, shutting my door quietly behind herself. I sighed.

I had hoped that she wouldn’t take my words seriously, wished that she would only go into her room and return to me later when she perceived that I was calmer and so, I was shocked when I heard the unmistakable sound of a car engine revving to life only moments later.

My initial anger dissipated and turned into panic as I shot toward the door, pushed it open, and ran out.

I continued to run blindly, in fear, until I arrived downstairs only to discover that she had driven off… with the babies! A scream threatened to escape the back of my throat
