Chapter One Hundred and Twenty.

Aurora’s POV:

I sat up in bed when I heard the sound of the door opening. Even before he stepped in, I knew that it was him as his sweet scent hit my nostrils.

“Hi,” I greeted with a smile, waving at him. Klaus smiled back but I couldn’t help but notice the tired lines around his eyes. He dropped a sweet-looking tray of food at the bedside table and then went to sit close to me on the bed.

“How do you feel today, Angel?”

That was new. He never called me that. The new nickname made my insides flip in excitement and my smile widened.

“I feel better.” And that was the truth. Today was only my fourth day at the hospital and miraculously, I had healed so fast that no one would’ve believed it was the same me who couldn’t move my body only two days ago.

“You heal so fast,” he commented softly, and then gently caressing my arm, he added; “…sometimes I forget that you are a white wolf.”

“Sometimes I do too,” I replied with a laugh, “…until I look in the mirror and see my white strands.”
