Chapter One Hundred and One.

Aurora’s POV:

I woke up to the sound of my babies crying and groaned as I begrudgingly got off the bed. The first thing I noticed when I got off was the fact that Klaus was nowhere to be found. His side of the bed was so clean and made, that one would even think he didn’t sleep here last night.

Deciding to focus instead on my crying kids and not on Klaus’ whereabouts, I hopped off the bed and stumbled to their cot, frowning when I noticed that they’d both soiled their diapers, thus the reason for their incessant cries.

“Argh!” I groaned again as I picked them up, one after the other, and began to clean them up. It took me a while but after I was done changing them into new diapers, I quickly fed them, placed them back into their respective cots, and sighed in relief.

“Now, where is Klaus?” I pondered aloud as a sense of unease washed over me.

It was unlike him to just up and leave without informing me. Even from how faint the traces of his perfume that still lingered in the room were,
