Leo's POV
The noise was low and shuffled. I had to place my ears close enough to the door to hear it. When I twisted the doorknob, it was locked from the inside, which meant someone or a group of people was inside. I had thought of walking away since school had closed, and I really don't want to get involved with anything. Whatever made them lock themselves in there must be a secret, and I already have a lot to be worried about. Just a few steps away from the door, it was like a heaviness in my chest, and I couldn't bear to walk away. It was as if someone important to me was in there. Without any more hesitation, I took out the two tiny steels from my pocket, pushed them into the holes, and was able to unlock the door. As I pushed the door open, my jaw dropped, and I couldn't believe my eyes. The two guys jumped away from her; one was Jaden, and the other was the same student Diane had told me was her new boyfriend. Diane was lying helplessly on the floor, her pants flung away with the gown raised up to her head. I could see the bruises on her face, her cheek red like she had been slapped multiple times. Those pretty eyes were gloomy and filled with pain as they looked at me. I had never felt this kind of anger, not even when I lost so many of my mafia members. Tears rolled down her cheek, and I saw the glimmer of hope as she saw I was the one that entered the room. “You again?” Jaden snarled, glaring at me while the other was buckling his belt. “You are the new math teacher, huh?” He snorted as he was done with the belt. Diane was still scared to move as she lay there and only managed to stretch down her gown. “I think you should know this isn’t your business. No teacher interferes with whatever we decide to do!” The foolish boyfriend added, giving me a dismissive look. “Wait, how did you even enter here when the door was locked?!” Jaden narrowed his eyes at me, looking down to my hands and seeing the steel I was holding before turning to the other guy. “Alan, did you leave the door open?” Oh, so his name is Alan… “I don't care whatever way he entered. He just has to leave so we can finish what we are doing!” Alan scoffed and shifted his eyes back to me. “Do you want money? We can give you more than the penny you're paid as a teacher.” He nudged his head, dipping his hand in his pocket. “No, he won’t accept that at all. We are in trouble.” Jaden sighed, and my gaze dropped to Diane. It was like a rage of fire surging from inside me as I stalked forward, my fists clenched. Alan pulled out a pocket knife. “Hey, don't dare it, or you will regret it!” He warned, swinging the knife as if to scare me off. What he doesn't know is that this may just be my first murder. Hurting Diane was something I didn't know could force out the monster in me. My blood was running hot through my veins, and the only thing I could think of was making him pay with his life. If I hadn't entered here, she would be raped. Not by one but two of them. “Alan, don't…” Jaden tried to warn me, but it was too late as I dodged his blade and gave him a punch on his cheek. He lost his balance, grabbing onto the table for support as the blade fell off. I didn't even let him recover before grabbing him by the neck and slamming him on the wall, hard enough to make blood spurt from his mouth as he collapsed on the ground. Jaden tried to run, but I was fast enough to get hold of the hem of his shirt, yanking him back. I landed a punch to his face, holding his shirt to prevent him from escaping. “You didn't learn your lesson the first time. You can go to hell then!” I growled and headbutted him hard, and his shriek of pain pierced through the wall. The walls are soundproof, and school has closed, so there was simply no one to save them from my wrath. Alan was recovering, so I charged at him with a kick to the face. He hit his head back to the hard ground, his body convulsing, yet I didn't care. Instead I struck him on the face, breaking his nose. “She loved you, and you want to take advantage, huh? I thought you both were dating! Prick! I will send you to hell where you belong!” I bellowed, raising my boot to stomp him in the face, but Diane's voice screamed in my head. “Leo, don't kill him! Don't commit murder, please.” She cried, running to me and pulling me away from him. “This bastard was the crush you had. He only accepted to be your girlfriend just so he would turn you into a toy. He even brought Jaden to use you like….” “Leo, I know… but don't let your anger put you in jail. I don't want to be away from you…” She moaned, hugging me tight as she sniffed under my arms. It felt like heaven. I couldn't really understand, but her body wrapped around mine left me with so much warmth, snatching away the anger in me, and I found myself vulnerable under her voice. And she just says she doesn't want to be away from me. That sounded so sweet, it made my heart tug. I don't know when such words began getting to me when I had heard them severally. “Alright, but you will have to break up with that fool now.” I sighed, and she looked up at my face with a smile. “You sound so jealous. I thought you would be happy I left you. Anyways, he was never my crush or my boyfriend". I lied, she shrugged, running her index finger around my chest as she avoided my eyes. “Really?” “Yes.” She nodded. “Helen forced me to do it…I will explain later, but let's leave here now.” “Helen??” I seethed, and she nodded. Shit! I suspected that. Holding Diane's hand, I walked to Alan, who was groaning and coughing out blood. “You would have been dead, and I will easily get away, I promise you. Thanks to Diane for saving you. Nobody will know you are a rapist if you also don't tell anyone I was the one that hit you!” I said to him and shifted my gaze to Jaden. “You may not survive it the next time. Maybe you're not the only one who knows how to use videotape to blackmail. I took pictures and videos of you both trying to rape her, so it all depends on y'all..." I smirked, showing them my phone. I could see the terror in their eyes as they forced themselves to kneel. “Please, don't release that. Please…” Jaden begged, shivering as his wide eyes looked at me. “I won't. Unless you want me to be disturbing Diane. Instead of oppressing and bullying her, take care of her!” I said and took Diane's hands as we both walked out. Diane made sure she took her pants and shoved them in my pocket. “It fits my pocket.” I said teasingly, and she giggled, holding my arms firmly. “Did you really take a picture of them trying to…” “No, sometimes you have to use someone's greatest fear against them because it makes them not to think.” I replied, and she grinned with her eyes shining bright as they looked at me like I was a god. “You saved me again. We can't deny it anymore.” I said nothing because I couldn't find the right word. There were many things I would love to tell her. My heart was racing as I drove her home, feeling her eyes on me. She was right…We can't deny it, but I still found it so hard to spill my feelings. My brain was countering my heart, reminding me of who I was and how wrong it was that I was being close to this girl, yet my heart won't budge. “That red stripe you saw on my wrists was from the rope Helen tied on me. She threatened me because she believes I was the one holding you from loving her. She said I must have a boyfriend, so you will realize there is no way it can work out between us.” She began to explain. My face was expressionless, but the grip on my steering wheel was tighter as fury surged inside of me. “She handed Alan to me as the guy I must date. With her promise to also stop Jaden from oppressing me, I didn't think twice in accepting her deal like the dummy I was. Now I almost got raped.” She sighed. “You aren't a dummy.” I said aloud, and her eyes lit up. “Yeah? But it was a bad decision that almost caused me eternal scar. I can't imagine being used like that.” She sniffed tears and drew closer. “Why not be closer to me so you can advise me and guide me on my decisions? Show me your house and reply to my texts.” “Let me see your phone.” I demanded, and she handed it to me. I checked through and sighed. “Helen tampered with your phone when she held you hostage. That's why we couldn't see each other's text. I will deal with her for hurting my student.” Diane's face beamed with a huge smile, and I almost lost focus. She was so beautiful and sexy with those blue eyes shimmering once again. “I love when you call me your student.” She gleamed. “Is there anything special about that?” I shrugged as I packed in front of her house gate. “I am employed to take care of my students because their parents left them in our care. That's what teachers should do.” “Yeah, yeah, you're right.” She swallowed, taking a deep breath. “There is nothing special.” “Take care of those little bruises with some first aid.” I said aloud as she made her way out. She won't stop looking back and waving at me. Thank God for the tinted glass; she was unable to see me smile wide in admiration like I won a lottery. She was just at the gate as I watched like a personal bodyguard to make sure she entered safely before I drove off.“Hi, Sir. Thank you so much for today.” That was the message that popped up on my phone just immediately after I got back home.I almost slapped myself as I caught my face beaming with a wide smile. I can’t tell why her message made me feel this happy.“It is no big deal.” I typed and sent knowing fully well that this wasn’t what I wanted to tell her. My only fear of getting close to her was that she may find out about my real identity.I saw the lashing fear in her eyes when I almost killed those rapists. She was terrified just by the sight of blood and couldn’t stand it for one second. How much more would she be scared of me when she found out that I was a bloody killer who had lost count of how many bodies he had dropped.“Have you gotten home? What do you plan to eat?” Another message from her and my lips curled. The cheeky emojis she uses at the end of every text ar
Diane looked up in surprise as the whole class drifted their attention to her.“He only helped me because I injured my toes! What are you trying to insinuate?” Diane cut in.“I am done for class today. If y'all keep being this annoying, I will cease being your teacher and take over another class.” I warned them before I took my leave. Diane's POV “It wasn't long after he left that my phone vibrated. I checked my phone, and it was a message from him.My eyes lit up and I looked around to be sure no one was peeping at my phone from behind. Excitement bubbled inside me, seeing him text for the first time. I hadn't checked the message yet but I was already giddy.*Come to my office and collect the PDF test for you all.*I read his text and exhaled, trying to control my racing heart. I don't know why he picked me to come take this, knowing I was crushing so hard for him. I don't know how my body would react with just us in his office. No matter how much I tried, my brain won't stop rem
What is going on?Is this AI-generated? I asked myself, but there was nothing that showed it was. My blood ran cold and my body froze in a spot. I couldn’t move, fighting back my tears as I tried to convince myself it wasn’t what I was thinking. The video was done, and next was a voice recording, and I clearly heard Leo’s voice calling her into his office. My breath was fast as I listened to Leo confess to her. “I have been thinking. Maybe I have been fighting myself from accepting that I can’t resist you.” What the fuck!He said this same thing to me that night we had sex. I listened as they began to have sex. It wasn’t a forced one because Leo was enjoying it too. After they were done, he told her they could be friends and know where it leads. He even apologized for how he had treated her. It hit me like a rock when he said she would be the first friend he has in the school. Who was I then?Leo even told her he wants to experience the feeling of love with her after setting a
A huge smile spread across my face as I bit my lower lip to stop myself from squeaking and tittering. “What text is making you this giddy?” The voice of the counselor interrupted from behind, and I shook, hiding away my phone.I didn’t even know I hadn’t left her office. “Nothing…” I replied and scurried out. Whatever she just told me about the consequences of teacher and student relationships had vanished from my head. It really entered one ear and disappeared through the other. I was already in love with Mr. Leo, and there was nothing anyone could do to change that.I couldn't concentrate on whatever was taught in school as my eyes kept glancing at the wall clock, waiting patiently for school to be over. My heart kept racing in joy as I thought of the moment when we would both be together in his house, away from the eyes of everyone. Just us. He really was in love with me, and I was sure he would explain to me why he was treating Helen that way. Leo's POVThe date with Helen w
I kissed her slowly, my arms wrapped around her while she threw her hands around my neck, her eyes closed. It was a slow and deep kiss with her body responding with a squirm as she tried to hold back the moan while her fingers ran through my hair down my neck.I cupped her ass and raised her petite figure up my waist. She giggled into my mouth, giving me an opportunity to slip my tongue in.Her eyes opened in surprise at first, but she easily gave in to it, allowing me to give her a French kiss, which she has obviously never experienced before. “You love that?” I asked as soon as we broke the kiss. We were both red and breathing heavily. She was swaddled on me, smiling sheepishly as she nodded with her eyes twinkling like the star. “I love it. My first time, but it felt magical.” She breathed, hugging me tighter with her legs still wrapped around my waist.“Now is the time for you to know another reason I invited you here, and it is in my room.” “Okay, Daddy.” She giggled as I wa
“Something like what? As long as you want me beside you, I will be there to help you.” He let out a sweet smile and tucked my strayed hair behind my ear. He caressed my cheeks and kissed my forehead. “Good girl.”I blushed, blinking shyly.“Go to the bathroom and clean up. I will go out to get you a dress so you can change before I drive you back home.” He said, and I nodded. He kissed me on the lips again before I headed to the restroom. If he wasn't my teacher, I would have slept here, but our relationship has to be a secret before it destroys his career and my family's name.My life had never felt this good, and I wished he was not my teacher because being with him makes me feel like my entire life had fallen in place and nature had given me a second chance to experience love in a magical way after Jaden broke me.Leo was the perfect man for me. An intelligent professor, masculine, hot, and handsome. Although he had mentioned his secret once, it doesn't seem to me like something I
“Leo, I am so sorry for being stupid and naive again.” I shook my head and hugged him while he stroked my hair. “I should trust you and be the last to see you as a bad person. You have been so good to me. I'm also very sorry about your parents and your past sufferings.“It is fine…You are my little princess, and I should have told you this beforehand.” He replied. I broke the hug, and he pecked my lips.“I want a kiss.” I poured, and he laughed and nodded. His hand grabbed my neck so sexily as he planted his sweet and soft lips into mine. His other hand around my waist to make sure I was pressing against his body.He broke the kiss, and his gaze on me was enough to bring me down to my knees. How does he do it? He seemed to be more handsome and smoking hot every second, and I could swear at that moment that he was a drug I couldn't get enough of.“When that girl gets enrolled, I will make her my friend, although I don't know if she will agree since she looks so rich.” I shrugged with a
Jaden’s POV“Dad, I want to tell you the whole truth! A different thing from what everyone knows because I trust you to make the right decision.”His eyes squinted at me as he took a seat in the chair beside my bed. The bandage was still around my arms and some plaster on my head. The wounds were healing but still painful. Although what hurts most wasn’t these physical injuries. It was the fact that Diane kept me in this condition and didn’t care at all. She had been going to school freely while me and my friend went through excruciating pain.I had lied it was an accident but now I would tell my father everything. Leo and Diane won’t know what will hit them.“Did he really take a video of you trying to tape her?” My father asked with a deep growl, his eyes red.“He said he did. I don’t know if it is true, but we can’t sit here and guess.”“I am glad you told me this. In two days you will be discharged. The school clinic will take over so you can attend school. Don’t worry; I will per
Just when I thought everything was well planned out, it came crashing and turning all sour. Someone was behind the shadows ruining my mission just so I wouldn’t gain my freedom. My chest rumbled, and rage boiled inside me like a raging fire. I could feel my whole body burning, veins red and sprouting as I clenched my teeth to control myself. The last time I felt this way was when my father was killed, and now it was back. That monster that turned me into a villain, killing every trace of empathy inside me.My eyes moved to the gate where Diane had rushed in, and I felt like a knife was stabbed to my chest. All I wanted was to keep it a secret and finish this mission; then we would live that life I dreamed of. But someone from my organization decided to destroy it all.“Just pray I don’t get you!” I bellowed, entering the car and zooming off to the location Sofia had sent to me.As I got close, I found out it was her house. She called me as soon as the gate was opened for me.“I am gla
“No, I don’t.” I snapped, “Tell me what is going on! What did she read in those files that made her say what she said? Apart from you being a mafia member, what else is the reason she has to put you in jail?! What are you not telling me?!”“Diane, the mistake we made is allowing those files to get to her hand. Now I have to find a way to get it without any negotiation because I don’t think she will offer any reasonable one.”“Why do you think so? She is our friend!” I retorted, but he let out an empty chuckle.“She is not our friend. Even if she is, now she has gone through that document, it is all over.”“What did she read in it?” I asked. “Tell me!”He paused, looking me in the eyes, filled with different emotions I couldn’t understand. He tried saying something but clamped his lips shut, shaking his head. “I can’t tell you.” He breathed, and just then his phone beeped. He checked and quickly distanced himself from me.Leo’s POVI really wonder where I went wrong in my plan. Diane's POV It was like cold water was splashed all over my body, my blood running cold as I stared at him hoping he would tell me it was a prank or some sort of funny joke just to tease me.But none of that happened. I watched him collapse on the chair there, his eyes shimmering with anxiety and the veins in his arms and neck sprouting harshly.I moved closer and picked up the bag, turning it upside down, allowing everything in it to pour out. Just a few of my books, the pistol, and the cellphone, but that document wasn’t there. I was sure it was there when I left for Sofia's place. Why did I not check before leaving?I slept off, and once I woke, I ran out without telling her just so I wouldn’t have to give her the explanation she demanded. My mind didn’t think of rechecking my bag. But why would she sneak into the room and take this?“Who took it?” Leo asked as those fiery eyes landed on me.“I really don’t know, but… I can only suspect Sofia.”“Were you sleeping? How did you allo
I entered a taxi and went back home.“Go to a forest and hide all you took from this house that could implicate me. For now, I am a suspect, and the cops can barge in anytime!” I typed and sent it to my men. They weren’t among those I suspect because none of them knows of the safe lock inside my office, so they aren’t the ones who gave this information to the cops. I took a quick bath and dressed up in casual wear, covering my face with a cap before heading out through the back door.I had a feeling someone was keeping an eye on me, so I had to sneak out secretly to avoid being followed since I was heading to Diane’s house. I don’t want any of this to be linked with her. She is just too innocent to be involved in this even though I had made her do a lot for me today. She hadn’t called me yet or sent any text. I don’t expect any because she would be really angry at me. That’s if it hadn’t turned to hatred because she must have seen what those files contained.I was just lucky she didn’
Imagine the world knowing about my relationship with my teacher, who turned out to be a mafia gang. I would be an accomplice to whatever evil he had committed.“I have to make a call to my father then.” She sighed, giving me a suspicious look. “But you have to tell me everything! No lies and secrets between us!”I nodded hard as I looked ahead, and they were almost done with the car in front of us.She made the call, her voice low as she discussed it with her father. My heart was racing, and I was panting, praying silently for God to save me the last time.“Lower your head and lie low. They must not see you…” She mouthed to me, and I did as she said immediately. It worked. I heard someone telling the cops to allow us to pass after the window was rolled down and they saw her. Whoever her father was, he must be a powerful man to make them give an exception to her.We drove out and kept a distance away before I poked out my head, exhaling heavily.“Thank you so much….” I sniffed, hugging
Diane's POV I couldn’t believe my eyes as I watched the cops put the handcuff around his wrist, confusion written all over his face, but he didn’t struggle or try to contest. My eyes wandered around, and I could see the bewildered look on everyone’s face as they stared at him, unsure if they could possibly believe he was a killer.Leo’s eyes fell on me at that moment, and I could see sadness and disbelief in there. It was as if someone betrayed and sold him out.My heart squeezed tight, and every part of me froze as I sniffed the tears that welled up in my eyes. It was like slow motion as Leo was taken away, disappearing from my eyes just after he had promised he wouldn't be caught. How did they trace it to him? Didn’t he assure me that all evidence was cleared? And also, he told me he didn’t kill Jaden’s father, so why are they accusing him of that too?He was poisoned. How could he possibly kill someone? But then I remembered Helen was dead too, so there was no one to confess to hi
“Sorry, I had to lie because someone might be listening to us, and you know how nosy they can be.”“Oh, maybe I should return to class and show him the question some other time since you both are busy together.” She grinned, but Diane shook her head.“No no no…. We aren’t doing anything just casual conversation. Let’s check the math problem together, and he can teach us both.”“No.” Sofia adamantly refused. “I feel you’re just trying to be nice. Enjoy your time with him. After all, I can ask him the question when he comes to teach us in the afternoon.”She waved with a wide smile, walking out hastily.I just stood there with my hands in my pockets. She gave me a wink before leaving, but I didn’t even act like I saw it. The only thing on my mind was how I would take her to my boss. She has no idea the pain and torture she was going to face later in life. She may be really falling for me, but soon she would realize how far she should have run away and left the country.“That girl is so
“You really love Leo and couldn’t bear betraying him. I will have to send you to hell so you wait for him. Don’t worry; in just less than an hour, he will be there with you…” Chan laughed evilly, and my body paralyzed with horror.I tried to talk. To beg for my life, but my lips could only move with no word coming out. The sound of the gun getting cocked made my throat hitch as my life flashed in front of me.“I won’t betray…you…Please don’t…”“That is a lie. And besides, you know a lot of my secrets. Keeping you is a risk!”That was the last thing I heard before a gunshot. But I wasn’t dead. I didn’t feel any bullet; instead, someone fell dead. Then the sound came again and again from an angle I couldn’t tell because I was struck with terror at these sounds. All I knew was that someone well trained had appeared from inside this house and killed these men. Jaden’s father was the last. He couldn’t even fire two shots before he was brought down. From a corner, a young woman I had never
“He won’t agree. I love him, but he doesn’t love me the same way.” I sighed, feeling the heaviness in my heart.“Then find a fucking way! He still wants you to be his girlfriend as a shield over his secret romance with Diane, so why not use a breakup to threaten him? Tell him to visit you or you will end it all!” He snapped at me, and I swallowed hard, pondering if I should do this. With Jaden’s father's tone, I could swear he would kill Leo if he got hold of him.“Leo didn’t kill your son. That is the last thing he can do. He may look cold and mean, but he isn’t so bad as to gun them down as you claimed. Even if he probably did, the evidence will show up soon. Why not allow the cops to…”“I just sent you your half payment for the job. When you’re done, you won’t only be paid the rest but also become the school proprietor. I know how much you wanted that position.” He said, and it was like he snapped my mouth shut as I couldn’t talk anymore and checked my phone.I screamed as I saw a
