SELENA'S POV

"Do you really need to go?" I asked Jaxon, he stopped putting his clothes on his luggage and caressed my face while smiling, it's a fake smile.

"We already talked about this. I also need this for our own business, remember?" he moved closer and kissed my forehead, "Just trust me, everything will be fine."

I nod, "Hmm, take care there, okay? Don't be so close to Maxine, if you do, you won't see me again."

He laughed and mess my hair, "Silly, you're the only girl who owns my heart."

"Err, gross. Finish that up," I said and stood up to help him because he will be late at his flight.

"Selena?" he addressed.

"Hmm?"

"Where have you gone this past few weeks? I seldomly saw you here."

I stopped for a second, "Ah, I'm winding down to stop the stress. You know? Too much stress could kill me."

He sighed and walked closer to me, I looked up at him, "You'll be fine here, right?"

I smiled at him, "I'll be fine as long as nothing bad will happen to you there. Haxilla's house isn't that far here, I can go there whenever I want someone to talk." I explained while packing his clothes.

"Let's go? You'll be late at your—"

He pulled my hand, so I fell on his chest, he passionately kissed me. I close my eyes and follows the moves of his lips, this kiss will be gone for ten years, no one can kiss me like this.

"Wait for me, huh? Promise me."

I nod at him, "I promise."

That night also we bring him at the airport, he even threatened Raven, especially Haru, to protect and look out for me. When the airplane successfully took off, Haxilla invited us to go to their house.

"Did you make tacos? I'm craving for tacos," I said while we're on our way to their house.

"Hmm, you've been craving for that for almost a week. Didn't Jaxon noticed that you're pregnant?" Raven asked.

I shook my head, "I don't know if he didn't notice, or he's just putting an act."

"The second one is more possible reason, it's obvious to your aura that you're pregnant," Haxilla said.

We talked about anything while we're on the road, whe we already got on their home, Haxilla immediately prepare the foods. Haru sat beside me and looked at my tummy.

"Why?" I asked.

He leaned and looked up, "I'm just wondering if that's really Jaxon's child."

My brows furrowed from what he said, "W-what do you mean?" we looked at each other.

"You can't remember? We make love when I saw you on the bar that night."

My hands automatically covered my mouth when I remember everything now. It's impossible, it can't be.

"Haru, can you join me here?"

He hung up the phone, tss, why did I even ask him? I drink another shot of tequila, even I already felt dizzy.

Someone grabbed my arms and pulled me out of the bar, "Who are you?!"

"I'll bring you back to Jaxon."

I stopped walking, he looked at my eyes. He loved me once before, he can love me again, right? I walked closer to him and pull his head down to kiss him.

He pushed me away, "You're drunk, let's go—"

I didn't listen to him and pushed him against his car, and captured his lips passionately. When he holds the back of my head and belly, I smirked, he finally gave up.

PRESENT

"D-did we really do that?"

He nods, "Yes, we're literally out of our minds that time."

"We really are." I sighed deeply and leaned to the sofa. Haxilla called us to the dining to eat. I can't even open my mouth to speak because I drowned in my own thoughts.

What if this child is Haru's? Argh, what kind of shit did you just have done, Selena Formosus? You're really messed up.

The longer that I think about it, the guilt rapidly eating my whole system. What if it is true? What if Jaxon will find out about this? I'm dead. I'll bring disgrace to his family name, as well as to my family.

"Selena."

"Hmm?" I looked at Haru when he called me. All of them are looking at me like they called me for a million times.

"What are those deep thoughts about?" Raven asked while slicing his food. I shook my head and continue eating mine.

"Are you okay?" Haxilla asked.

"Yes, I am. By the way, where is Hershey?"

"She's with my mom, they're in the mall, I guess." Raven answered.

We finished the food, and Haxilla wants me to stay at our house for now because Raven's mother has visitors later on. I don't have any choice, but to stay at our house, Haru is driving for me.

"Selena," I looked at him, "Don't think too much about what I said earlier. It's bad for you to be stressed."

I look again at my front, "How can't I? There's so many reputations will be destroyed if this is really your child."

"Let's take a DNA test once you gave birth to that child..."

"And what if it is yours? What are your plans?"

He sighed, "Do you know why I didn't date any woman after our relationship ended?"

"That doesn't answer my question."

"It's because I'm still waiting for you to come back—"

"Still, that's not the answer to my question."

"I'll give up on everything just to be a responsible father to that child. Is that the answer that you're looking for?"

"Responsible," I chuckled, "Do you know why I didn't get back to you even if I can?" I looked at him as I asked. He shook his head, "Because someone like you isn't my dream to be the father of my child. That's why I can't accept the possibility that you're the father of my child, if ever."

HARU'S POV

Her words slowly torturing my heart, how can't she be so sensitive to her words? The mistakes that I made are already buried in the past, it's not easy to cjange myself, but because of her, I did it.

I'm stopping myself to shout or say anything that can hurt her, I'm worried that it can affect the child on her tummy.

"W-why? Why do you think that I can't be a responsible father to that child?" I still asked, even I already know how hurtful her answer will be.

"A womanizer can't be a father to my child."

"W-womanizer? It's already the past, Selena." My heart thumped loud from what she said.

"These photos say the opposite," she gets a photo that I'm with a different woman. "Didn't date any woman after me, huh? What kind of plot twist is that?"

"Sel, look, I can't remove you from my mind. I just did that to sobered up myself and think straight—"

"Stupid. Drop me here, I'll take a taxi from here."

I didn't listen to her and continue driving the car, she can't do anything, but to stay at my car. We already arrived at their house, she didn't even wait me to open up the door for her.

"If this child is yours, I rather kill this than to take of her," she said without even thinking about it.

I chased and grabbed her arms, "Are you out of your mind?! Why would you kill an innocent child because of me? I thought we're already fine?"

She smiled sarcastically, "You didn't even kmow anything." and walked fastly to get in their house.

SOMEONE'S POV

"He already left the country."

I put down my glass of wine and smirked, "How about his wife?"

"We just found out that she's pregnant."

"She's pregnant?" I asked him, he nods, "Oh, they never failed me to make me happy."

"But..."

"What?"

He cleared his throat, "I don't think that Jaxon knows about her pregnancy. That's what he heard in their conversation."

I leaned while twirling my glass, "That's perfect. He will blame himself until he dies, if something bad happened to his child. Ahh, this is so satisfying."
