MET BY TRAGEDY

THREE YEARS AGO   Only the two of us stood beneath the frigid sky on a snowy December night.   He grabs my hands and pulls me in closer. His eyes, like mine, are full of bliss, which I believed could only happen in movies. The butterflies in my stomach began to tickle my entire body.   For me, it's a lovely night, and I'm feeling like a princess.   He's speaking with his heart rather than his words when he says, "Thank you for coming into my life, Selena."   My shaking hands smiled at him as they touched his face.   "Thank you for always making my heart warm, even when the weather was so chilly."   My eyes immediately closed

I awoke with a big grin on my face. I need to start my day off on a good note- "AHHHH!" When I heard Haxilla cry in the living room, I bolted. "Can you tell me what happened?" Brittany was the one who asked. "A cockroach flew on her body, and you know how much Hax despises cockroaches," she explained as she stood there watching Haxilla jump and roll around the room. "Did you simply stand there like that? Oh, please help me-ah!" Hax had fallen on the couch. With a shake of my head, I returned to my room. Later, when she realizes the cockroach has gone away from her, she will be fine. I can still hear her yells, but I choose to ignore them and prepare for my interview. Sel, be courageous and confident. "Finally, we met," Ma'am Perfiana said as we exchanged handshakes.   "Yes, I'm really apologetic for the previous day; my documents got bogged down in a muddy puddle," I stated.
