"Where the hell is Selena? She really didn't call you?"

"I'm trying to reach her out, but I can't," Britanny answered, I sat at the couch while my hands are covering my mouth. Where is she?

"Mommy, are you okay?" Hershey asked as she run to my front. I smiled at her and caress her hair, "I'm fine, baby. Go to your room now, grandma will go with you."

Nanny Karen bring Hershey to her room, Raven get back from a call, he looked at me with his eyes that are full of worries.

"Someone saw her at the hospital three days ago. I contacted the president on that hospital—"

"Just be on the point, please?"

"She conducted a CT scan and knew that we're giving her a wrong pills instead of headache pills," Raven explained, that made my whole system to panic and nervous.

I looked at Haru, "You're the last one that she's with. Did you say something to her?"

"Ahm..." he player his fingers and avoiding our eyes.

"Bro, we need your cooperation here. Selena is pregnant, it's not safe for her to be alone all the time," Wade said.

Haru bowed his head and sighed, "I told her that the child she's bringing now is possibly my child."

"What?! How come?" Britanny asked, I'm just watching them, I want to shout on him too, but I can't because of too much tension.

"One night, I think she had a fought with Jaxon, she's drinking at the bar. I told her that I'll bring her back to home, but that thing happened."

"Oh gosh," Wade uttered.

"Beside that," all of them looked at me, but I'm focused on Haru, "You didn't talk about something else?"

He shook his head, "Our conversation ended that day easily. She didn't mention anything about her past."

"On what place she could be?"

SOMEONE'S POV

"Sir, Selena Formosus is missing three days ago until now."

I stopped what I'm doing and looked at him, "Why? Did she follow her husband?"

"I don't think that's the reason, sir," he showed a picture from a social media platform where Jaxon and Maxine are together, "These two are always sticking to each other, it's impossible that Selena will get there without making any scenes."

I put down my pen and hold my chin, "What's her reason to disappear like this?"

"Ah, I have something more, sir," he put down an envelope containing pictures of Selena in different places, "We saw her getting back and forth on the hospital, the following day we asked the doctor that she's with this picture, and he said that Selena conducted a CT scan check-up for her brain."

"Why?"

He shook his head, "We don't know the reason because the doctor insisted on shutting his mouth about it."

I leaned, "Maybe she disappeared because she found something about her body. She's dying, perhaps?"

"She's also seeing an old woman, we don't know their relationship to each other, but that old woman is connected to Raven Demetrius."

My lips automatically formed a smirked, "Her life is kinda tough more than I expected, it's perfect. Ah, check all the airports, maybe she flew to other country to escape this."

He bowed his head and get out of my office. While playing my pen on my fingers, I'm smiling like an idiot because of excitement.

"When I knew what's your weakness except for Jaxon, Selena, I can easily catch you with my net."

My phone suddenly rang, my eyes automatically rolled when I saw her name flashed on the phone, "Hello."

[Is it true that Selena is missing?]

"So what?"

[Idiot, it's a great news, of course.]

"Kinda."

[My hopes are that next time I heard her name, she's already dead.]

"That would never happen, I'm sure of that."

[Did you hear yourself?]

"Yes, loud and clear."

[Ha, you're so annoying!]

She hung up the phone. Just mind your business there, I can handle everything here.

SELENA'S POV

"Bonjour, madame. Voici votre commande." (Good morning, ma'am. Here's your order.)

I nod at her while reading an article, "Merci." (Thank you)

"Gorsthia?" I asked myself when it reminds me of something.

' "When you grow older, you're the one who will take care of Gorsthia just like how she take care of many people in our country." dad said while we're both staring at a robot.

"Do I need to take care of her? She can live on her own."

Dad messed my hair while laughing, "It doesn't mean that she made different from us, she didn't need a care like ours."

I pouted and touched Gorsthia's head, "You'll help many people in the future, okay? Like what my dad does."

Her eyes became pink, and her lips formed a smile like she understands what I've said, "Yes, I'll help many people." '

"You're crying, you need tissue and hug."

I looked at my side, it's Gorsthia. She wiped my tears and hugged me tightly, "Everything will be alright in the right time. Stay strong."

"Oum, thank you."

She moved away and wiped my tears again, I feel like my mom who has wiped my tears. Dad is intelligent enough to invent a robot like Gorsthia.

I continued reading the article that I'm reading earlier.

When I accidentally touched the picture, it zoomed in. My forehead creased when that place is where I've been before, Kathleen's event's place.

My phone suddenly rang, it's an unregistered number.

"Hello? Who is this?"

My heart beat raced, I looked around me, but I can't see someone who is suspicious. Is he the one who is threatening me before?

"W-who are you?"

"What do you mean? How did you know what I'm doing—"

"Stop, I'll find the truth whatever it takes."

He hung up the call, my hands are trembling while staring at my phone, how did he know? Does he follow all along here just to stop me?

I'm walking now where I found my parents' lab is. It's obviously underground, so I need to find a hidden door here in such a huge house. The windows and stairs up to the second floor are familiar to me, except that I already saw it because of Kaley's wedding, but it gave me more heavy feelings.

' It's raining, I'm so scared to get out of that closet, buy I need to find Nanny Karen. My mom and dad suddenly disappeared earlier when they hid me from someone.

"N-nanny Karen?" I shouted multiple times while walking down the stairs. I saw a silhouette from afar, so I did my best to hide from them.

"Serena, let's play. Oh no, we're already playing hide and seek."

Her laugh scare me more. Someone covered my mouth from behind, I'm trying to free myself from this person. "Trust me," he whispered. We stood up slowly and walking to somewhere.

"Aahh!" I shouted and covered my ears when a loud thunder strike. He hushed me again, and run immediately when we heard footsteps near us.'

I'm crying again while holding my chest because of that, I'm really Serena Formosus. I stood up again and tried to walk even my knees are still trembling, when I stepped on the carpet, a weird noise came out.

When I successfully removed the carpet, a small hole piqued my interest. I tried to open it up, but it's too hard to open, maybe because it's been a long time since its last used.

"Move aside," a man from my behind said.

I looked at my back and my eyes widened when I saw who it was, "Jacob?"

He smiled at me and put aside, far from that liitle door. He opened it using a scraw bar, it opened, and a thick fog met us.

I lit up my flashlight to saw what's inside of it. Jacob suddenly moved his body to get down, "Hey, what are you doing?"

"You're just killing yourself in curiosity. Let's go," he offered his hand to me that I accepted and we both get down to the underground room or basement. I'm not still sure if it is the lab of my dad.

We walked a little using our flashlight until Jacob saw a fuse and tried to turn it on, the lab became more bright and we both gasped because of the machines and equipments placed here.

"Woah, I didn't know that this kind of place exists." Jacob smiled so widely while looking at the whole lab. Even me didn't expect this kind of place in a house.

We walked more and more, I saw a two-way door at my side, I feel that I'll found something else behind that doors. I'm the one who opened the door, it's so dark inside, but a machine sounds is so loud.

"Wait here, I'll try to find where the switch is." Jacob lot the wall and found a switch, it lit up the whole room. I almost collapsed from what I saw in front of me.

LERION'S POV

"She's moving," she said while walking back and forth on my front. News that Selena is missing, made us to be more paranoid.

I drink a beer, "It's hard for her to find where the body is."

She stopped and looked at me, "All the things that we've done just to stay that company alive will be gone in just a second when she found it."

"Don't worry, if ever she saw that, it's also the end of her life."

She sat beside me and link at my arm, "What if she's really Serena? The only daughter of your brother, you'll kill her?"

"Of course," I answered without hesitation, "Her father always stealing the spotlights for me, I'll never let my brother's blood still run as long as I'm alive."

"How about your son? If she's really their daughter, your son will be hurt."

"That's why I bring him to Maxine. As the time pass by, our son will fall in love to Maxine, no matter what happens."

"Hello?" I answered my phone.

[We're doomed. I think she already found it.]

"What?!"

[I followed her car, and she's now inside the house. You need to move quickly before the press came here.]

My fist clenched. She wants to play a game, then let her be our player. "Stay there, prepare everything that is needed. We'll go there right now."

"What happened? Who is it?" Seriana asked.

"She found it."

I walked rapidly to get some syringes and guns that I'll use to kill that pest. You'll regret everything that you're doing right now, Serena, however, you'll be together now with your parents.

"Where is she?" I asked Harold. He scratch the back of his head while roaming the whole place.

I kicked him in his leg, he never does his job right. Something like this always happens, I don't know why is he still alive and working for me.

"Let's go inside. If they're really here, they'll leave the carpet on somewhere else."

They followed me, and I'm shocked that the carpet didn't move a bit, maybe she's here earlier, but she didn't know about the lab underneath.

"The carpet didn't move," Seriana said while looking at the carpet. I noticed something on the carpet, when I'm about to walk closer to it, my phone rang.

"Hello? If you're just wasting my time—"

[Leave that house now, Mr. Lerion.]

"Who is this?"

[Your ford and tesla car is perfect to be a fire starter, what do you think?]

"What do you mean? Who are you?"

[Tic toc, tic toc, tic toc. The time is running, say goodbye to your tesla and ford.]

I immediately run outside the house, and a large explosion met us. My world almost crushed out when I saw how the fire eating my precious car.
