Kasalukuyan silang nasa loob ng isang private room ng sandaling iyon. Nandoon din sina Alfredo, Miriam, Laura, Phoenix, at Cathy.

“How can I be calm if my diamond necklace is gone? How, Garry?!” bulalas ni Beatrice na kakagising lang.

“Darling, your heart,” suway ni Alfredo sa asawa na kasalukuyang nakaupo sa tabi nito.

“Mom, I told you to stop looking for that damn necklace. It can be replaced. We can buy a new o—”

“I want that necklace back because it has sentimental value to me. I’ve had it for five years, anak. Mahalaga ang kuwintas na iyon sa akin. Your father gave it to me,” putol ni Beatrice kay Phoenix.

“Mom, did you hear what Dr. Garry said? Avoid doing anything that could worsen the situation. Kung patuloy mong iisipin ang kuwintas na iyan, baka mas lalo pang lumalala ang kundisyon mo.”
