“ARE YOU REALLY sure about this, Chase? This isn't a good idea. Mommy will get mad at us. She told us to stay in the house with Nana Sally.”

“Cora, it has been three days since we talked to mommy. I want to see her and Uncle Carlos. If you don't want to come with me, then it's fine. Stay here, I'll go on my own.”

At lumabas na si Chase sa kuwarto dala ang face mask na gagamitin niya sa pagpasok sa ospital. Naglakad siya pababa habang si Cora naman ay nakasunod dito. Sumilip muna si Chase sa baba at nang hindi makita ang Nana Sally nila, naglakad siya at tahimik na dinako ang pinto. Nakasunod pa rin si Cora ng sandaling iyon at nang pareho silang makalabas, humarap si Chase kay Cora.

“Don't you miss mommy and Uncle Carlos?” tanong ni Chase sa kapatid.

Umiling si Cora. “I missed them, Chase, but what we're going to do isn't a good idea. We can't go there. Mommy told us, remember? It's for our own good, Chase. We have to listen to mom—”
