ESCAPING FROM "THE JACK"

The catering van was driven out of Parker's mansion at speed and stopped about 2 km away Jimmy and Lily were transferred to a big black SUV and there was a contingent of security and a similar SUV that followed them to a house where they changed and were transferred to the airport where a private jet was waiting for them and they boarded Lewis, Jimmy, and Lily plus few security guards.

When Lily boarded the plane she was still in shock and was wondering what the matter could be and so she was given a tablet to swallow and calm her since she had been weeping throughout she slept for most of the flight and was taken to bed to sleep by Jimmy. When she was sleeping Jimmy and Lewis were strategizing how they will counterattack the gang of Jack since they had now made an enemy with the mafia. Lily was woken up by Jimmy when the plane was landing so that she can freshen up and go and tighten her seat belt. They landed safely and when she alighted the plane was overcome emotionally when she saw Tina who had come to pick her up at the airport she was overwhelmed with emotions and when they hugged she could not control her tears from falling. They cried together and Tina requested Jimmy they go to her home together so that they can talk Jimmy did not object he knew she needed to get in terms of what had transpired and needed someone close to her so that they can discuss the effects of the day. To Lily, all looked like a movie, not the real thing. Jimmy also needed time to discuss the events and how to counter them with his boys and he knew Lily was safe with Tina and the security had been heightened at their homes and offices.

Tina escorted Lily to one of the guestrooms the one she frequently used when she came to visit her or for a sleepover she instructed the nanny not to disturb them and asked for chamomile tea which was relaxing. Lily took the tea and now that she was with Tina felt relaxed and ready to talk. She explained to Tina the way her mum Sally had insisted she had a party and wanted Lily to attend that Saturday, lucky enough when jimmy called Lily and invited him to the house for the party so that she could introduce him to his parents. Her mother then called her and said she has been looking for her and why she was not in the house, Lily was worried thinking something wrong could have happened to her dad she assumed. But her mother clarified that she only wanted her to join in organizing the party since she was the only kid. “Can’t a mother want time with her daughter?” she inquired which made sense and Lily accepted she will be joining her. She excused herself from Jimmy who promised to follow her because he had a surprise for her, he was going to give her an engagement ring and ask for her parent's hand in marriage. Lily was given the driver's number and contacted him and directed him to the hotel for a pickup. When the driver came Jimmy escorted her to the vehicle but not before taking the driver's contact he used the excuse in case he wanted to be given directions to Parker's residence and Lily was busy as she was the host which made sense but also that is what made Jimmy rescue Lily.

When she went home she found her parents waiting for her and she was happy to see them again they hugged but the strange thing was instead of her going directly to her room as was the routine her dad said they needed to talk and took her to the study room. Before they settled Jack and his parents came into the study and that is when Lily realized something was amiss and today was not business as usual. Jack's parents hugged Lily which she reciprocated with pleasure since they were her godparents and Lily saw them as the second parents. What she did next was ignored Jack because since the day he wanted to rape Tina they were never on talking terms. Jack said, aren’t you going to hug and kiss your future husband?” he asked arrogantly and Lily sneered saying “I wish” then he replied don’t worry your wishes will soon become a reality.” Hi beautiful I can see you are growing every day”, Jack said that is when Lily's dad coughed and interrupted them saying the meeting can start.

Parker explained the meeting was to unite the two families both in marriage and business which was echoed by Jack Snr and their wives. Lily protested saying nobody asked her what she wished for or wanted and the plans did not include her because she had her life to lead but not with a spoilt and arrogant bastard like Jack her father stopped her saying she was being disrespected. She pointed out how he had wanted to rape Tina but her mum replied it was a long time since he was a young boy he regretted the action and even apologized to Sally and said he was still a teenager and stupid. When Lily started pointing out Jack’s errors his being a womanizer the scandals he had in the media with different women her father said the matter was already settled she was old and wanted to retire and need an heir and saw Jack be capable of running the company which made Jack grin and Lily decided not to argue with them. She decided to run along with them and that’s when she called Tina and Ken and informed them. The most disgusting thing was when he placed his hands on her shoulders hugging her on the shoulders pulling her closer and whispering that he was going to make love to her tonight and make her his as he had always wanted. These words made me so angry and I knew you would be my rescue I am glad I found you both and Ken were present because you guys rescued me.

Lily explained how they escaped and rode a private jet to escape Jack and here she was. She said Tina I can't believe how could my parents sell me to the highest bidder. What made them accept to betroth me to Jack who’s a gangster I thank God I met Jimmy because I would be crying right now with sorrow. Jimmy hired a private investigator who run into his accounts and realized that he was running bankrupt he wanted to confuse my parents to take over the company and property by marrying me and then swindle all my parent's properties. Tina, how will I tell my parents? Jimmy disposed of my phone because Jack could track it so I have no phone but I wish to get a new phone number with a different name that cannot be traced Jimmy promised to assist me. 

Tina worries about mum and dad we will talk with Ken and see how we can convince them to come and visit me and the babies then we will surprise them with your presence and explain to them what is happening with the Jack family. In the meantime not many stories on your phone we don’t want them to suspect where you are. Jimmy will come to pick you up in the evening and you both will be staying in one of the King's apartments that are only used in emergencies and people don’t know who the owner is.

Meanwhile my sister you are so tired from jet lag sleep I will call you later to freshen up and we have dinner. They hugged and Tina excused herself to see the babies and give Lily time to sleep she had already dozed in the bed and Tina tucked her in she looked so helpless and was happy it was her turn to protect Lily who had always been her guardian angel and her protector.
