THE PARKER'S VISIT TO THE CAPITAL

Lily spent two days with Tina and when she was calm enough Jimmy came for her and they went to settle in their new apartment. Lily was to stay indoors until Jack was out of the way they had gotten word that he started acting crazy when Lily disappeared and had sworn that he will kill the person who changed his fortune because he had already planned on what to do with Parker's wealth. Jack had become so arrogant that he had started threatening Lily’s parents if they don’t produce her. They were a day he came to their house high on drugs and acted aggressively saying that if they don’t produce Lily he would make sure they disappear making them regret why they agreed to betroth their daughter to him. 

Lily’s ailing father confessed to his wife Sally I am happy my daughter did not marry this arrogant bastard. How do I get her back I want to apologize for not listening to her. That is when Sally called Tina and when she answered the phone she asked them how they were doing with the family Tina sounded warm she said they were fine and the twin was growing up so fast they had started crawling. Sally was excited that she had someone with a positive mindset to talk to. Sally said if they have talked with Lily recently but Tina said the last time she talked to her sister was when she attended the party at their house she pretended not to know anything and asked Sally what was the matter with her sister her phone is off all the time I can't get hold of her and her godsons are crawling where is she? I think she will come back when they are graduating Tina joked but Sally did not see the humor because her daughter was missing and she was the cause. Sally regretted why they had not consulted her daughter about the marriage and wondered what misfortune she got herself into by relating with a gangster like Jack. She had even told her husband I am grateful that my daughter is not with this arrogant, selfish, and greedy bastard who wanted to take over the company leadership but thank God when Parker saw what sort of an arrogant guy he was he called his friends and also the company’s majority shareholders for a secret meeting explained what had transpired and told them about Jack’s intention of taking over their company so requested for them to postpone the AGM for another three months until he sought out his issues and gets his daughter back. One of the directors said Parker you slept with a devil that guy is a mafia and owes so many depts. He wanted to leap you off all your investment, I guessed so Parker replied. And do you know where your daughter is “Parker replied no but I hope she remains hidden for some time until things come down, I can’t wait to ask her for forgiveness? I messed her up. Derrick the older director in age said, your daughter is in safe hands, has it occurred to you that the man who has your girl might be more influential than Jack that’s why she has gone underground for quite some time? Find out who is keeping her safe and pray to god he is a good man which I believe he is but you have to figure out how to disconnect yourself from the Jack family. Parker, you made your bed with a devil but thank God your daughter is out of the wood. You have two things to take care of your health and your precious daughter but thankfully someone is looking after your precious daughter make peace with her and you are a smart lawyer get the Jack bastard off your hook.

The first thing gives over the company’s management to someone else. One of the directors said yes the King’s cooperation wanted a merger. So the majority shareholders decided that Parker and Jeremy would organize and hold talks with the Kings. They were powerful cooperative and untouchable. King and his boys were a tough nut to crack. So Jeremy called Mr. King in the presence of one of the other directors and put him on video call he said Mr. King I am calling you back regarding the merger offer with Mr. Parker's company. We have discussed and would appreciate merging with your giant cooperation because it would be good for business. We have Mr. Parker here who feels that age is catching up with him and would want to step down for the younger generation so please give us the terms and conditions we are willing to come on board. Mr. King said good I will talk with my sons and one of them will be coming down to your offices to sign the documents meanwhile engage your lawyers to start drafting the agreements but I promise you the merger is for your well-being and you will not regret your decision. We are large cooperation and we pray for a fair game. Mr. Parker, would you be willing to step down from your chairperson position for the younger generation? Mr. Parker replied I need to concentrate on my health and family will be my priority. Mr. King said well then we will get in touch with your offices. Have to go gentlemen I have to visit my grandkids we talk again later. Bye, the gentlemen smiled and were relieved. Gentlemen, I would appreciate this matter remaining secret until the time we sign the agreements to avoid speculation. Mr. King had been sent by to talk to Mr. Jeremy who was his longtime friend about the merger by his sons since they noted the only way they can be able Ken to stop harassing the Parkers was to buy the firm. Once the merger was on the Kings cooperation would be the majority shareholders and hence Jack could not threaten anyone.

Lewis was the one who came south to Parker’s firm and they had the necessary meeting with their Lawyers and another team they then signed the merger of the two companies and Mr. Parker requested they hold on for a shorter time until he feels safe from Jack.

Tina called her parents and insisted they come and visit the grandkids since they had grown big, coincidentally he was also called by the Kings cooperation so that they can complete the merger in the capital. He was requested to come with his wife since there would be a party to celebrate the new business cooperation. When the Parkers received the invite they decided to tour the capital and when they called to confirm their visit they were told that transport and accommodation were taken care of all that was required from them was their presence.

The Parkers were guilty of how they had handled their daughter but were happy that Jack's family would never marry her. Since she had disappeared from them they did not want to lose their other daughter that is one of the reasons they decided to visit the capital and also celebrate the merger the bastard “Jack” was never going to sow where he did not plant. 

They prepared themselves and Parker warned his wife to be silent about their trip and was taken to the airport where they were picked up by the private jet of the King’s family. The trip was long but peaceful and relaxing and for a long time, Mr. Parker felt relieved from the bastard Jack who was always threatening him. They were welcomed at the airport by two Black SUVs and security men and were driven to an exclusive residence also guarded they found a caretaker who had prepared some snacks and drinks for them and their driver told them they relax during the day since they had arrived at 10 am they will be picked up at 6 pm for the celebration dinner.

Although Mr. and Mrs. Parker were looking forward to dining with the Kings they were wishing their daughter would be present. Every day Sally said a prayer to the guardian angel to protect her daughter wherever she is. They showered, dressed in evening wear, and went down to the lounge just to find the driver waiting for them to go to the king's party.
