THE PARKERS FAMILY REUNION

Mr. and Mrs. Parker relaxed most of the afternoon although they didn’t sleep well because it still bothered them what they could have done to their daughter by marrying her off to the gold digger. The guy Mr. Parker later learned could have also abused his daughter and now they were glad she ran off before Jack got engaged to her she could have fallen victim to his numerous violence and abuse against women. Parker learned he had been accused in court of violence against women and even his business partners and he regretted having agreed with his wife who wanted to please her friend. This made the relationship between the Parkers so tense because initially, he was against the idea of forcing his daughter to marry against her will but Sally insisted and he gave in without knowing that he could have been signing his death warrant because Jack had planned to eliminate him after so that he can inherit all his properties and then dispose of them as the chairman of Parker's organization. The situation had made his relationship tense between him and his wife and he had sworn if anything bad happens to his little girl as he always referred to Lily even now that she has grown up Parker would never forgive Sally. This made Sally pray for a miracle because she never imagined her decision which was based on her friend's persuasion and convincing her to marry her son Jack would lead to anything bad befalling one of her family members she would also never forgive herself. She was praying to have her daughter back and promised never to push her onto anything she would rather have her a spinster than see her a slave of someone or her body with injuries or mutilated god forbid. She would never rush to make decisions but that was one decision that was made without consultation or second thought that she regretted ever making.

Tina called to find out if they were ready for the driver to pick them up and  Sally confirmed that they were ready. The one consolation the Parkers had about the company merger was that he would never get hold of their company or property with the Kings being more powerful than Jack and in the future, he would deal with a dynasty, not poor individuals like the Parkers that was a secured future for their daughter because she would not be in charge of the company and she and her generation will have a secure future. Parker’s only wish was to see his daughter once again ask for forgiveness and they live happily ever after not knowing the surprise that awaited them at the King’s mansion and that their wishes and desire would be granted and more to be realized.

The driver came to the house and said sir I have been sent by Mr. King to pick you and madam up their Masonite. They boarded the vehicle and had a smooth ride with very minimal traffic on the road and arrived in less than twenty minutes. They were met at the gate by Mr. King Lewis who welcomed them and they were given seats and some refreshments while they awaited other members who would be coming down any moment. Tina was the next one to come and they hugged Sally and could not avoid shedding tears and saying she was sorry for making her sister leave and that she would do anything to have her back. Tina consoled her and told her not to worry she only needs to apologize to Lily and that all will be a thing of the past. I know Nelly can be more than persuasive but in the future mum before you decide something for anybody especially an adult talk to her and see if she agrees with you.  Don’t worry mum today is a happy day forget the past. She then hugged the dad and noted that he had lost weight and commented dad you’ll not take care of yourself you have lost a lot of weight. Parker said my child so much has happened how can I eat while I don’t know why my child is or if she is well. Tina assured him dad have faith and all will be well your girl will come back to you and promise me don’t ever push her to that jackass. Parker said I promise by my mother's name I will never do that. Then Tina smiled hugged both parents together and told them all will be well. Why don’t we go and visit your grandkids they have become big, they were glad she changed the subject and they accompanied her to the nursery with anxiety to see the two angels. When they held them they said wow such beautiful angels I am proud of you and your husband. 

Sally noted you are looking more beautiful my girl Mr. King must be taking good care of you. Congratulations to him for me. They had a male voice answer from the door she is the one who is taking good care of us and the boys. Mr. and Mrs. Parker how are you I am Ken, Tina’s husband sorry I took her without informing you but things got out of hand but we will make it up to you. Welcome to the King family. Thank you Mr. King Parker said we appreciate you taking care of our younger daughter she looks happy. Tina brushed but Ken went and kissed her cheek, Mr. Parker calls me Ken you raised your daughters well, and don’t let them slip out of your fingers don’t ever forget that. Noted my son thank you for being an upright man. They shake hands and Ken invited them to join others in the dining room for dinner.

The Parkers left and Ken and his wife took the babies to sleep when they slept they were left in charge of the nannies and joined others in the dining area. Everybody had turned up except for Jimmy and Lily who were to appear when everybody was settled and they had started the speeches as was recommended by Lewis. So Mr. King introduced Ken and said the main reason for the meeting was for the merger of the two companies the Parkers and the Kings dynasty and the joining of the companies would also be followed by the joining of two lovely people who wanted to spend their life together and Mr. King was proud to introduce his third son Jimmy and his lovely fiancée who were planning to wed soon with his son Ken and Lily and they would be having a double wedding soon and all they required were blessings from Mr. and Mrs. Parker. Lily appeared held hand by Ken and looked radiant her parents were at first shocked but seeing she was alright and in good hands, they became excited and rushed to hug her. My daughter forgives me please I didn’t know what they intended to do. Lily said I know mum Jimmy explained to me what their intentions were but I am happy our company your sweat dad is now secure the jackass will never get hold of it again. They hugged cried together and every other gave the family time to reunite until they were interrupted by Stacy it was not time for crying but time to eat welcome to the family Mr. and Mrs. Parker your girl is in good hands now, my son Jimmy will take care of her. Let's go and eat before we start the speeches I am grand the family is now reunited and happy we will talk about other things later. Stacy directed them to the dining table which was set with mouthwatering food and they sat down with Mr. King leading them when they settled at the big oval table they said some thanksgiving prayers led by Tina and then dug into the food.
