LILY ENGAGEMENT PARTY 2

Lily was directed to her beautician when she was done makeup and the mother was not leaving her presence so she didn’t have time to escape or talk to anybody when they were done with makeup and she was dressed in a beautiful blue dress she texted Tina to tell Ken to call her urgently. So instead Tina in her panic mood called Lily and since her mum saw it was Tina she let her excuse herself even though her mum talked to Tina on the phone and when she asked to be excused to talk privately with Tina her mum did not object after all she was her sister and they had so many secrets together. Tina went to her room and closed the door she asked Tina urgently if Ken was there when she answered yes Lily was relieved and asked to talk to him. 

Tina was at fast skeptical about why would Lily want to talk to Ken alone but she trusted them so she gave him the phone. When Ken answered the phone which he found weird Lily went to the point, “Please Ken you have to help me I don’t have much time to explain but I found that my parents have organized an engagement party with my mother’s godson who I would never marry over my dead body. Jimmy doesn’t know this and he will be coming later in the afternoon please tell him to hurry when they come they should introduce themselves as your brothers who came to visit their in-laws and to send greetings from Tina tell Jimmy to kindly not mention I am his fiancée and if he sees I am not taking his phone then I am not alone.

He should use Lewis's phone because he is Tina's brother-in-law. My father is one of the best lawyers but be very strict please tell him he has to rescue me now because there’s no time. I had to remove his promissory ring because I was doing pedicures and manicures but I want to play along with them until I elope with Jimmy I can't marry this arrogant bastard when I have the love of my life. I have to go but please if anything calls me using Tina’s phone or Lewis to contact me. Tell Tina I love her and the babies and I can't wait to see these beautiful God sons of mine that’s what her mum found out Lily saying so there was no suspicion when Jimmy had her mother asking why she was taking long she said they were talking with Tina’s husband who wanted to greet her she made sure she had not disconnected the phone for Ken to hear. Then her mum said hurry up the engagement party is about to start and Jack and his parents are waiting for you in the lounge. They want to greet their daughter-in-law and gift her. Lily tried to protest but Sally became harsh to her and said don’t let me pull you in front of the guests for once you’ll not embarrass me and your dad we don’t want a spinster for a daughter we want grandchildren soon.

Lily tried to protest but she could not that’s when Ken after overhearing the conversation went took his phone and tried to call Jimmy who was not picking up his phone called Lewis who answered immediately and told him what had transpired he connected them on a conference call so that they could follow what was going on Lily’s house. Lewis who was idling on the couch waiting for Jimmy called his security men to be alert and went to call Jimmy. He was cursing because Lily’s phone was not going through and was busy but Lewis calmed him down and explained what had transpired. Jimmy became worked out and wanted to go on his own but Lewis was calmer and told him that they needed to be smarter if he wanted to have his girl in peace. Lewis had already had someone look to know who Jack Jnr was and they noted that he was an arrogant bastard so they would not risk Lily’s life so they were to whisk her away from her mother’s house. They noted that Jack was a gangster and knew that they had to be also prepared for any eventuality. Lewis called his senior security guy and asked him to call for a backup because they seemed to be trending on the muddy ground. He also note that his parent's company was collapsing due to money embezzlement of funds that he had swindled with his mum and now they were looking for a way of acquiring wealth by marrying Lily who was from a well of family and him being given the company as a son in law to run he could get hold of all the Parkers wealth. Jimmy was so irritated by the way Lily’s parents were taken advantage of but did not know how schemer Jack’s family was. 

Lewis looked at Jimmy he had never seen him so worked up and to irritate him he asked “You love her” yes man I do and how do you know there was not an item before Jimmy boldly said yes I know because I was the first man in her life you dammit. That took Lewis off-guard you want to mean? yes, she was a virgin so I know that I am her only love and will fight to keep and cherish her forever. You are one lucky son of a gun Lewis parted Jimmy back and he said let’s call my men we get into action. They called the four guards and were told the backup was on standby hence the two men dressed decently and two guards were to join them carrying a present for the “couple”.

The plan was they enter inside using the invitation card Lily had given them and the security men were to carry the “gift” as a disguise. Jimmy had taken the driver's number and talked to him and he is the one that explained what was happening inside the madam was like being forced into the engagement she had protested but the Jack had come with his gang who were located strategically. So they knew that they had to plan because this Jack was a gangster who had gambled cash and needed the wedding to happen to acquire the wealth. They knew Mr. Parker was ailing and the wife was not interested in the business nor was her daughter who had taken her carrier of traveling and tours and didn’t want to join her father in business.

Her mum moved Lily to a room where only Jack and his parents and Lily and her parents were. They wanted Lily to sign some documents before marriage that’s when she became suspicious and asked her dad I am dying after this marriage and I have to sign my will early? Is your dad sending me to the slaughterhouse she said in tears? She knew her dad had a weakness and hugged her and said it's okay this will be done another day let’s just join the party and the engagement to continue. Lily was at least happy that she would not sign any document and was praying that Jimmy was on the way to rescue her. She hated the sight of Jack especially when she caught him almost raping Tina and hitting him hard on the back with a stick. He had sworn he would take revenge on her now she knew this was what he meant.

When they were walking from the room he came and held her hand and whispered I have gotten hold of you know you are mine plus your money will be mine and then I can dump you after I have acquired all your wealth you spoilt girl. Your father is now weak he cannot do anything thanks to the drugs we feed him. Lily felt disgusted and pulled her hand from him. She shouted “don’t touch me with your faithy arms” The parents had a commotion and asked what was the matter but Jack said it was okay lovers' fight is expected.

They went to the hall and Mr. Parker welcomed everybody to have food and a drink. They started dancing but Lily just sat down like a zombie not believing how life is full of turns and twists she was so happy in the morning only for things to turn upside down in the afternoon. She composed herself and took only a glass of water. She was cursing Jimmy why he would let her end up with an imbecile. As they were eating a beautiful waitress approached her and pretended to bend and poured wine on her dress. It was red wine so the stain was very evident Lily cursed and excused herself to go to her room and get cleaned up in the process of the lady wiping her and apologizing she passed a note to her. Lily knew she had gotten an escape route. Her mother cursed the waitress and sent her away but at least she saved Lily. Lily went to her room where to her surprise she found Jimmy waiting for her how he got in was the story of another day she hugged him but she said we need to get you dressed first in this man's suit and beard like a waiter plus put on the wig we need to clean your face first we don’t have much time.

We will talk later she washed her make up dressed in a waiter's suit and put on a wave plus beards and they left using the kitchen door and the catering van nobody could suspect how Tina went but realized when she didn’t turn up in the party again.
