Dimitri's face was slightly flushed and his gaze was dazed as he looked at Brooklyn. He buried his face against the latter's neck and mumbled, "It wasn't exactly good, but it wasn't bad, either."

Just then, someone knocked on the door. "Mr. Wood, it's time for lunch."

It was a maid. It looked like lunch was ready.

"Okay," Dimitri said. "Zachary and I will be right down."

Brooklyn watched as Dimitri took his jacket off. He thought the latter wanted to continue with what they'd been doing and hurriedly stopped him. "No, we can't. Everyone's downstairs waiting for us."

"Honestly, what goes on in your mind?" Dimitri rapped him on the head. "I'm just getting changed. Look at how dirty my clothes are—I can't wear this in front of everyone, can I?"

"Oh, right. I'll get you something." Brooklyn scrambled off the bed and ran to the wardrobe to look for clothes. There were plenty, but they were all in his size. There was basically nothing for Dimitri to wear.
