The university Dimitri had signed Brooklyn up at was a private one. When they arrived, there were luxurious cars everywhere. Brooklyn stared at them and started worrying that he wouldn't be able to fit in.

"Why does it feel like you're a little scared?" Dimitri was beside him and sensed the change in his emotions. "Are you?"

"Yeah. I'm worried I can't get used to campus life." It had been seven or eight years since Brooklyn had last studied. What if he couldn't get used to being a student again? Would he blow his cover? There were too many things to worry about.

"Don't worry about anything. You're just here to study—if you can't get along with the students here, you don't have to," Dimitri said comfortingly. "Let's look for your counselor and pay the fees."

Brooklyn nodded and followed him to the counselor's office. When the counselor saw Dimitri, he ran over and said, "You didn't have to come in person, Mr. Wood."
