"It fits you perfectly." Dimitri looked at Brooklyn dotingly. "Relax, okay? It's fine even if you know nothing. You'll always be the one I love the most."

Brooklyn knew Dimitri would always love Zachary, but he couldn't understand why. Zachary had never had feelings for him. Why would someone be so deeply in love with a person who would never reciprocate his feelings?

"Why do you like me?" Brooklyn asked tentatively. He wanted to know.

"Do I need a reason for that?" Dimitri rubbed his head. "Don't overthink this."

Brooklyn could sense Dimitri avoiding the question, so he didn't dare push for an answer.

They were silent on the way to the main residence. Dimitri was probably tired from whatever he'd done earlier and leaned against Brooklyn's shoulder, eventually falling asleep.
