Brooklyn followed Kenneth out of the room to head downstairs. When they were at the top of the staircase, Kenneth asked, "Do you know how to act like Zachary?"

Brooklyn didn't. He shook his head and said, "Of course not. Zachary and I come from different worlds. I don't know how to pretend to be someone who's completely different from me."

"All you need to do is put on an act in front of one person." Kenneth gestured downstairs. "You just have to act like you don't love Dimitri."
