Chapter 74

Sarah's pov

"He slept so well," I said softly, stroking the head gently.

He occasionally moved his head in my lap, shifting to find comfort and then back to sleep. For about an hour, he was asleep, and I felt my legs aching.

It seemed like the weight of that head was really hampering the movement of my blood flowing, if he stayed there any longer I was sure I would be in trouble. But how could I wake him up?

Ethan was asleep with his tired face. I couldn't imagine how tired he was, but I knew he was extremely tired from his daily activities. What's more, lately, he's become even busier because I've added to his to-do list.

I felt bad for him, but if I could only look after her while he slept, then I had no problem doing that.

I gasped at him waking up. With his eyes open, she looked up at me with a smile.

That smile made me stiff and guilty for looking at her so intensely. I had imagined something a bit wild about his pretty face, but I swear I didn't touch it.
