Sarah POV

"Do you not have a good relationship with James?" I glanced at him as he opened the door for me.

He briefly looked at me. "Why do you ask?" He guided me inside carefully, still faithfully holding my hand and supporting my body.

I shook my head lightly. "No reason, just curious. You two don't seem to communicate well. Every time you start a conversation, it sounds like you're both trying to hit and parry each other before launching another attack."

I heard a small laugh from him. "Does it really sound like that?"

I nodded. "Yes, that's how it sounds, and it looks like that too. But strangely enough, your conversations go one way. You finish them pretty well. You ask questions, and he answers, explains, and provides information. I thought he really neglected Grace."
