Ethan's POV

After finishing our meal together, Sarah once again disappeared from sight. I’m sure she’s busy with Edmund now. That little boy has stolen his mother from me. No matter what or where Edmund is her priority, I feel my position has been shifted.

"Sir, would you like me to prepare some tea?" Emy asked me.

I shook my head, intending to return to work for a while, but I changed my mind this time. "No need. Have you seen where Sarah is?"

"Miss Sarah is in Master Edmund's room, sir. She's putting him to sleep," Emy replied promptly.

I figured she'd be there. I remember telling her that Edmund should get used to sleeping in his room. After all, he's old enough. But Sarah said she couldn't bear it and would stay with him until he fell asleep.

I then moved toward Edmund's room, right next to mine. "Is he asleep?" I asked Sarah as soon as I entered.
