"Don't you think that he's overdoing it lately?" I exited the car with Lira's help, who opened the door quickly and helped me get up more easily.

I've noticed that since I got pregnant, people have been paying more attention to me, especially Ethan and Lira. I'm sure Lira did this not only because Ethan insisted on her taking care of me and making sure I was safe but also because of her concern for my well-being and her desire for me to be okay without feeling anything less.
