Chapter 69

"Your wife is calling you, don't you want to pick up?"

Arka glanced at his cell phone which had been ringing off the hook because of Naya's call. Instead of picking it up, the man just silently glanced at it without any intention of picking up the call.

"Still angry? Oh My Gosh Arka, you're an adult. You even have children. Is this how you deal with your household problems?"

Arka was currently out of the office with one of his friends. The man had just told his friend about his problems.

"I'm angry, but the reason why I'm reluctant to pick up her calls isn't because I'm angry. I just wanted her to realize and not take my anger lightly."

That's right, the reason Arka was reluctant to pick up Naya's calls wasn't just because she was angry, the man wanted Naya to realize that this time he was really angry and didn't want to be underestimated because Naya had always taken his anger lightly. 

"Actually I'm curious, the reason why

You hate Zack so much, it can't just be because of the first impression when you met, right? There must be another reason."

Arka was silent. The man let out a long sigh. To be honest, it was true what his friend said. There were other reasons that made Arka hate Zack so much, one of them was because the man openly told him that he liked Naya.

"Arka."

"Don't bring it up, I don't want to hear her name."

"Okay. Then I want to ask you about Jenny. Is it true that she's still seeing you?" 

Arka nodded.

"Arka, you have to be careful with her. You know how Jenny is. She'll do anything to get close to you. You also have to look after Naya, I'm afraid Jenny will do something bad to her."

"Last night she came to the house and I kicked her out. I wonder why after disappearing for a while she suddenly came back? Honestly, I'm really bothered by her presence. The problem between me and Naya because of Zack hasn't been solved yet, now we're adding Jenny."

"Just be strong, it's called love. If Jenny wants to be with me, I will too."

"Just take Jenny, take her away from my life," Arka said in an annoyed tone. It seemed like the man was really annoyed and fed up with Jenny.

While they were chatting with their friend, suddenly they had someone they were just talking about. 

Yup Jenny. I don't know how she suddenly came and approached them.

"Hi, can I join you guys? It's okay, there are still empty seats too." Without waiting for approval from Arka or her friends, Jenny sat down in one of the empty seats.

"Who told you to sit here? Can't you sit in another seat? There are still many empty ones."

Arka's friend looked shocked at Jenny's presence. Honestly, she was confused about how Jenny suddenly came when she was talking with Arka.

"Jenny? So long, just now me and Arka were talking about you, suddenly you come."

"Really? What were you talking about me?" Jenny asked happily. How not to be happy, the person she likes was caught talking about her.

Fyi how Jenny could suddenly come was because one of her friends told her.

"Secret."

"Secret? Arka, what did you talk to him about me? I'm curious."

Arka gave Jenny a displeased glance. It wasn't long before the man stood up and excused himself to his friend.

"Arka, where are you going?" Jenny wanted to follow Arka but Arka's friend had already held her back.

"Wait!"

"Where are you going? Come on Jenny, don't chase Arka like that. The more you chase, the more fed up Arka will get. Besides, he's already married and has kids, so it's better for you to find another guy. I'm single too."

Jenny looked at Arka's friend with a disgusted look.

"Me, with you? No way!" Jenny snapped before walking away.

"Zack?"

Naya was shocked to see Zack in her neighborhood. Naya had just returned from the convenience store to buy some cooking supplies, but when she entered the compound, she accidentally met Zack and it was still inside the compound where she lived.

"Naya? What are you doing here?"

"I live here, why are you here? Don't tell me you live in this area too?"

Naya looked curious waiting for Zack's answer. Honestly, Naya was getting more and more confused why she met Zack so often outside the campus. She would meet him everywhere. Maybe at first Naya just thought it was a coincidence but the longer it went on it felt a little strange.

"I was just at my brother's house, he happens to live around here."

"Really? Where? What's his name?"

Zack looked silent for a while. 

"It's useless for me to tell you, you won't recognize me either. Where are you from?"

"I just came from the convenience store to buy some groceries."

Zack glanced at the plastic bag that Naya was currently carrying. It looked like she was doing quite a bit of shopping, making it look like she was overwhelmed with her purchases. Knowing that, Zack took the initiative to help her carry her groceries to the front of Naya's house.

"I'll help, it looks like you have a lot of groceries."

Seeing that Zack wanted to take over the plastic bag she was carrying, Naya quickly stopped him. "No need, I can do it myself."

"Why, are you afraid your husband will get angry?"

Before Naya could answer Zack's question, she was suddenly startled by the arrival of a car she recognized. 

Arka, the man stopped his car not far from where Naya was standing and got out and approached her. You could see Arka's displeased expression when she saw where Zack was.

"Arka? Arka, I can explain," Naya said. The woman seemed afraid that her husband would misunderstand her and Zack.

"What are you doing here? Where's Kenzo?"

"I just came from shopping, Kenzo is sleeping."

"You left him home alone? Let's go home quickly, I'm afraid Kenzo's in trouble."

Without caring about Zack's whereabouts, Arka immediately took over Naya's groceries and carried them into the car. She also asked Naya to quickly get into the car before getting out of the car and walking away from Zack.

"Didn't he see me? Did he think I was a ghost that he didn't notice me? What a bitch!" Zack muttered in annoyance.
