Chapter 72

"Naya!"

Naya, who had just returned from campus, was immediately surprised by the arrival of Juna and Yuna. The woman seemed to frown confused at the arrival of her two friends.

Actually, it was not strange for Juna and Yuna to come to her house, it was just that their facial expressions looked like they were panicking or anxious. Like there was a problem going on.

"Juna, Yuna are you coming?"

"Sorry Nay, there is something I want to talk to you about, it's about what happened this morning."

Hearing Juna's words, Naya immediately invited her two friends into the house. Once in the living room, Juna immediately told Naya everything. About his conversation with the compound security guard earlier about the absence of strangers entering the compound this morning.

"According to the security guard, it looks like the culprit is someone who lives here too. Your house must have CCTV, right? Can I check it?"

"Cctv? Cctv in front of the house? It looks like the cctv in front of my house is broken. It's been broken for three days and Arka hasn't called anyone to fix it."

A long sigh escaped Juna's mouth. He was about to find out who the perpetrator was through the CCTV but it turned out that the CCTV in front of Naya's house was broken.

"Is there no other CCTV? I mean a cctv other than outside the house but one that can reach your garage," Yuna asked.

Naya was silent for a long time before shaking her head no.

The three of them tried to think of a way to find out who the culprit was who deliberately injected Naya's car cable this morning.

"Wait a minute, what if we ask the house in front of you, Nay? Who knows, the cctv in front of the house can reach your garage," Juna said.

After thinking and making sense, they finally went to the house directly in front of Naya's house to ask permission to see the cctv in front of that person's house. But when they got there, the house was empty. Several times Juna knocked on the door and pressed the bell but there was no response at all.

"The owner went out of town last night, sir!" Shouted one of Naya's neighbors who happened to pass by them.

"Out of town? When did they’re return, miss?”

"I don't know about that."

Again, hopes of finding the perpetrator failed. After Naya's CCTV was damaged, it turned out that the occupants of the house opposite Naya's house were out of town. The problem is that only the owner of the house can access the CCTV.

When the three of them were confused, suddenly not long afterward Arka came home. Seeing his wife in front of someone's house with Yuna and Juna made the man confused. Without thinking, the man immediately approached them.

"What are you guys doing here?" Arka asked.

Arka's arrival managed to make Naya, Yuna and Juna surprised. 

"Arka? Are you home?"

Arka nodded. "Naya, what are you doing here? What are Juna and Yuna doing here?"

Yuna, Juna and Naya glanced at each other. They were confused to answer Arka's question. It was impossible to tell the truth because Naya had asked Juna not to tell Arka about this. And Juna had also told Yuna not to tell Arka either.

"Why are you guys silent. What are you doing here, what are you hiding from me?" Asked Arka again with a suspicious look.

"Nothing. There were people walking back and forth in front of this house. I was afraid that it was a thief so Yuna and I tried to tell the owner of the house but it turned out that the owner of the house was out of town," Juna lied. 

"But Naya, why are you here too?"

"I just got home from college and saw Juna and Yuna standing here, so I approached them."

Without suspecting anything, Arka nodded his head in trust. The man immediately took Naya back to his house while Juna and Yuna also returned to their house.

In the evening while having dinner together, Naya seemed to be daydreaming more. It wasn't for no reason why she was daydreaming, it was because she was thinking about who the culprit was who had cut her car cable earlier that morning. Honestly, it scared her. What if it was a bad person? What if the parents came back and not only damaged her car but herself or Kenzo when Arka wasn't home?

Realizing his wife's silence made Arka immediately stop eating. He looked at Naya with a probing gaze. "Naya, what's wrong with you?" He asked, but she remained silent.

"Naya!"

"Eh? Sorry Arka, what's wrong?"

A long breath came out of Arka's mouth. The man put away his plate and sat leaning against the chair while folding his hands in front of his chest.

"What's wrong with you? I've noticed you've been daydreaming. What are you thinking about? Are you hiding something from me?"

"No, I'm not. I was just thinking about what happened earlier."

"What happened?"

Naya immediately shut up. She had just blurted out her answer to her husband's question. 

"Naya!"

Naya tried her best to find an answer.

"I'm talking about what Juna told you earlier. About the house in front of us. I'm afraid it was a burglar, I'm afraid there's something wrong with our house. Arka, the cctv in front is broken, did you ask anyone to fix it?"

"I forgot. I'll ask the security guard to find someone to fix the CCTV. Oh yeah, this morning you went to campus with Juna, right? I deliberately asked him to take you to campus because I had to go to the office this morning."

Naya nodded.

"Where did your car go? I just remembered that I didn't see your car."

"It's in the garage."

"Why, weren't you dropped off by Juna earlier? I saw your car yesterday and it was fine."

Again, Naya was confused as to the answer to her husband's question. 

"Before Juna came, I wanted to leave by myself. But just as I was about to get the car out, I bumped into the railing so the car was scuffed. Hehe, I'm sorry it's still morning and I'm not too focused. I've asked Juna to take it to the garage."

"Next time don't bring your own vehicle if you still can't focus. It's a good thing you crashed at home, what if it was on the road?"

Naya only smiled slightly in response to her husband's scolding. The girl breathed a little sigh of relief that her husband believed everything she said.

At home Juna and Yuna are still discussing what happened this morning. Even though it didn't happen to them but for them Naya is their family. If something happened to Naya it would make them sad.

"Juna, shouldn't you tell Arka? I'm afraid that person will come again."

"I was going to tell him too but Naya told me not to."

"What then?"

"I'll try to find out more later."
