Chapter 73

A man dressed all in black was seen standing not far from Naya's house. He had been standing there watching Naya's house for quite some time. 

It wasn't until shortly after that the security guard who was in charge of going around monitoring the complex saw the man and immediately approached him.

"Who are you, why are you standing here? Are you watching Mr. Arka and Miss Naya's house?"

You can see the man's shocked reaction when he was approached by the complex security guard. He wanted to run away but if he did that, the security guard would accuse him of being a thief or something.

"Are you the one who damaged Miss Naya's car this morning?"

Hearing that, the man immediately shook his head. "No, not me. I was just looking for my brother's house."

"What's your brother's name?"

"Richard. Do you know him?"

"Mr. Richard? Are you really his brother?"

The man nodded.

In order to confirm whether the man was really the brother of one of the residents of the complex named Richard or not, the security guard took him to Richard's house to confirm whether the man was really his brother or not.

Once at the house of the man named Richard, it turned out that it was true that the man was his brother. After making sure everything was safe, the security guard immediately excused himself to continue traveling around.

"What are you doing here at night?"

"I'll tell you later, tonight I'm staying at your house."

As they walked around, the 2 security guards kept chatting while talking about the man they met earlier. Honestly, they were still not so sure he was a good person, but because the man named Richard said himself that the man was his brother, they couldn't help but let him go.

"Sorry sir, can you come here for a moment?"

While passing Arka's house, suddenly the two security guards were called by Arka. Hearing this, they immediately approached him.

"What's wrong, Mr. Arka?"

"Sorry sir, I want to ask a favor. So this way, the cctv in front of my house is broken, can I ask for help finding someone who can fix it? My wife said that this afternoon there was a stranger watching the house in front of me, I'm afraid that person is a bad person."

"Yes, I can find someone tomorrow. By the way, did a stranger come here this afternoon, sir? I don't think so."

"My wife said so."

"But Mr. Arka, just now I really saw a man standing there watching your house. I approached him, he said he was looking for his brother's house. After I took him to his brother's house, it turned out to be his brother."

"Who sir, if he was looking for his brother's house why was he watching my house? You should have called me earlier."

"I don't know his name, sir. Sorry."

"Yes, next time you see someone standing in front of my house for a long time, please let me know immediately. Don't forget to find someone who can fix my cctv tomorrow. I'll go in first, thank you."

After chatting with the two security guards, Arka hurried into the house. Along the way into the house, the man did not stop grumbling because the security guard did not immediately tell him that someone was watching his house.

Naya, who happened to have just come from the kitchen, accidentally met her husband and found him grumbling alone. 

"What's wrong with you, why are you angry like that?"

"I'm a little upset with the compound security guard."

"What's wrong with them?" Naya asked curiously. It was unusual for her husband to think so much about the compound's security guards. He was usually very indifferent.

"Just now I went to them to ask for help finding someone who can fix the CCTV, then they told me that there was someone standing in front of our house watching our house. I was upset, they should have contacted me but they didn't."

Hearing her husband's words, Naya immediately rushed to check through the window of the house whether the person who had been watching her house was still there or not. 

"What are you doing? He's gone."

"Arka, you better hurry up and fix the front CCTV. I'm afraid that person will come again. Tomorrow I'm picking up Kenzo, what if that guy comes back when I'm at home with Kenzo?"

Arka, who was only annoyed with the security guard, immediately thought about what Naya had said. He was worried that what Naya said would come true. 

"You're right, tomorrow I'll install a new CCTV so I won't have to wait too long. Naya, just let me know immediately if you see anything suspicious."

Naya just nodded hesitantly. She really wanted to tell her husband what happened earlier, but she was afraid that her husband would become more possessive if he knew what happened this morning. Naya didn't want that to happen especially if her husband hired bodyguards to guard her again.

"Quitting the internship? Why? Weren't you the one who begged daddy yesterday for an internship at the college where Arka teaches? Why are you suddenly asking to quit?"

Jenny had just asked her papa to quit her internship at the college. It wasn't for no reason why she suddenly wanted to quit, of course it was because of Arka.

Jenny's goal in interning at the college was to see Arka every day, but now Arka was no longer a lecturer at the college. After receiving a suspension at that time, Arka decided to stop being a lecturer and chose to work at his parents' company. Because Arka was no longer a lecturer, Jenny also wanted to quit her internship.

"Why am I there when Arka is no longer a lecturer there. Daddy knows that the purpose of my internship is to be able to see Arka every day, but if Arka is no longer there, why am I interning there? Anyway, I don't want to intern there anymore!"

A long exhale was heard coming out of Jenny's father's mouth. The middle-aged man was too dizzy to think about his daughter's wishes.

"Okay, tomorrow I'll try to talk to my friend."

"You might as well help me, right? I want to work in Arka's office. If possible, become his secretary."

Again, Jenny's parents let out a long sigh. What was this? After asking to be an internship lecturer, now asking to work in Arka's company?

An internship at the college where Arka was interning could still be granted by Jenny's father because the head of the college happened to be his father's friend. But if Jenny asked to work at Arka's parents' company, how would that work? The relationship between Jenny's parents and Arka's parents is not good. If you apply individually, you won't be able to. Arka would definitely refuse.

"I can't do this one, Jenny."

"Why daddy? Come help me work in Arka's company."

"Jenny."

"If you won't help me I'll leave home!" Right after making this threat, Jenny walked away. Leaving her daddy with a headache.___
