Chapter 75

Arka pulled Naya's hand a little roughly. He had just gotten home from work and saw his wife getting out of the car of the person he disliked the most, Zack.

"Where have you been? Why did you take Kenzo with you?" Arka asked in a high tone. The man looked upset and angry.

You can see Naya's shocked reaction when she saw her husband. She didn't expect to arrive home at the same time as Arka. 

"Come in!" 

Before Naya could explain everything, Arka quickly pulled her by the hand to enter the house. But before she could bring him in, Zack suddenly held her back.

"Can't be rude, right?" Zack asked.

"What does that have to do with you? She's my wife and I have the right to do anything to her!"

"You may be her husband, but that doesn't mean you're free to be rude to her!"

Seeing her husband and Zack start arguing, Naya immediately separated them. "Arka, let's go inside. Zack thank you for your help." Right after saying this Naya immediately brought her husband and Kenzo into the house.

Zack looked at Naya who had just entered the house with Arka and Kenzo with a look full of annoyance. He looked so upset, if only Naya hadn't separated them, he might have punched Arka in the face for being so upset.

"Shit!!! Just look at Arka, I'm not going to let you be happy. If I can't get Naya then neither can you," Zack said with a cynical smile.

Zack seemed so obsessed with Naya, the man wanted to make her his no matter what the occasion. 

Actually, at first Zack didn't want to be too obsessed with Naya. Although it was true that he liked Naya at first sight, he had no intention of taking her away from her husband. It's just that Arka's arrogant attitude towards him made him hate the man so much that he became obsessed with separating him from Naya.

"What else should I tell you Nay? Don't go near Zack! Why do you always ignore my words? You don't want to respect me as your husband anymore?"

"Naya, I'm already tired of thinking about office work, can you not add to my burden?"

After putting Kenzo to bed, Naya was immediately taken by Arka to the living room to discuss why she had come home with Zack. Honestly, Arka was really tired of warning his wife not to get close to Zack but she didn't seem to want to fulfill his orders.

"Arka, I accidentally met him. How many times do I have to tell you that I never met him on purpose? I didn't meet him on purpose."

"By accident? That's always your excuse! Isn't there another reason?"

"What do you want from me? I told you the truth."

"Nay, once or twice accidentally is possible, but this is too often. Almost every time you meet him, you say it was an accident. Can it be accidental that often?!"

Naya let out a long breath. Honestly, she was at a loss as to how else to explain to her husband. She had told him the truth if her meeting with Zack was by accident. If her husband didn't believe her then should she lie? Wouldn't that just make the problem worse?

"I ask you once again, where were you with Zack? Why did you go with him to bring Kenzo? I want an honest answer if you still consider me your husband."

"Arka, I could have sworn that I accidentally met him. I went to mom's house to see how she was doing and to pick up Kenzo. When I got home I ordered an online taxi but on the way the taxi driver was acting strangely. He kept looking at me with a lascivious smile. I was afraid that he had bad intentions so I decided to get off in the middle of the road. But unfortunately I got off in a deserted place."

"I've been trying to contact you but your number is not active. I've also contacted Juna and Yuna but their numbers are equally inactive. Then suddenly Zack came and offered to take me home. If I don't accept his help, Kenzo's pity, especially since it's so quiet there."

"Why didn't you tell me that you wanted to go to mom's house and pick up Kenzo, if you had told me earlier, I would have taken you."

"Sorry." This was the only word that came out of Naya's lips.

The reason why Naya didn't tell Arka before leaving for her mother's house was because she didn't want to inconvenience him. Naya knew how busy her husband had been lately and even came home late. That's why she decided to go alone.

Hearing the word sorry come out of Naya's lips, Arka, who was still angry, suddenly fell silent. The man let out a long sigh while trying to manage his emotions. 

Honestly, it was not Arka's intention to be rude and speak in a high tone like earlier to Naya, it was just that seeing Zack earlier immediately made her emotional.

"I'm sorry, Arka. I'm sorry for making you angry."

"There's no need to apologize, I was wrong too. Next time tell me if you want to go anywhere so I don't worry."

Naya nodded before hugging her husband. This was Naya's way of settling her arguments with her husband. Being married to Arka for so long had made Naya memorize the man's nature. Arka was temperamental and stubborn, giving in was the only way to settle their arguments.

"You look really dizzy, what's wrong? Something wrong at the office?" Naya asked after removing her hug.

"Nothing."

"Arka, you asked me to tell you everything, but you didn't want to tell me."

In the end, Arka told Naya what was giving her a headache. He told her about the Mr. Smith issue he had discussed with his papa. Arka was at a loss to think of a way to persuade Mr. Smith to invest in her father's company without Jenny's father interfering.

"Must it be with Jenny's daddy?"

"Daddy said that. Never mind, let this be my thought. I want to take a shower, can you prepare my clothes?"

Naya nodded before preparing a change of clothes as instructed by her husband.

"Jenny, open the door! I have something to talk to you about."

"No way!”

Jenny had been locked up in her room all day. She was angry that her father wouldn't grant her wish to work at Arka's company as a secretary.

"Yes, open the door first, I want to talk about it. You don't want to work at Arka's company anymore?"

Hearing her father's words, Jenny immediately got up to open the door. With an annoyed expression she looked at her father.

"What?"

"Tomorrow come with me."

"No way!"

"Are you sure you don't want to? I want to meet Arka tomorrow. Don't you want to work with him?"

"Dad."

"I'll be waiting for you tomorrow morning, don't be late." Right after saying this, Jenny's father walked away.

At that moment Jenny smiled happily. She had guessed that whatever she wanted, her father would fulfill it. Even though it seemed so difficult and impossible.
