Chapter 113

"Yuna must have told you?"

A long breath came out of Naya's mouth. She had guessed that Yuna would tell Juna about her taking the weight loss drug. It turned out to be true, even on the same day Juna came straight to her.

Just like Yuna earlier, Juna also scolded Naya. The man forced Naya to stop taking the drug because it was a dangerous drug. No doctor had even suggested taking such a drug.

"If you don't want to, I'll tell Arka. I will also tell your mother, and even Arka's parents," Juna threatened.

You can see how upset Naya was when she was threatened by Juna. This is what she doesn't like about Juna, the man always imposes his will. Even though this time it was all for Naya's own good.

"You can't threaten me like that!"

"Why not? You doubt me? Okay, I'll come to the police station right now to tell Arka. After that, I'll go to your mother's house and Arka's parents. How about it? Do you want to quit or not?"

Again, Naya let out a long breath. She was forced to agree to Juna's wish to stop taking the weight loss drug. If not for his threats, she probably wouldn't have.

"Now where, give me the medicine."

"I'll throw it away myself later."

"I don't believe you."

Annoyed, Naya walked to the kitchen to get the medicine she had taken and gave it to Juna.

"Where else?"

"What, I already gave it out."

"I know there's more, Naya."

Again, Naya sighed. She now walked to her room to get all the stock of weight loss pills she had and handed them over to Juna.

"I've given it all away, it's gone. If you don't believe me, look for it yourself," Naya said before Juna asked for more medicine. 

Naya was honest, she had indeed given everything to Juna.

You can see how Juna shakes his head at the several bottles of weight-loss drugs that Naya keeps. He didn't expect her to take such drugs.

"Tomorrow every morning, noon and night Yuna will come to give you food. She will also wait for you to eat to make sure you really eat."

"You think I'm so poor that I can't eat?"

"That's not it, I just want to make sure you eat regularly and eat healthy food. Arka has entrusted you to me so I don't want to be blamed if you get sick or malnourished."

Again, Naya could only surrender to everything Juna said. Just so you know, Juna is just like Arka when it comes to nagging so Naya couldn't help but obey.

"Now I have something to tell you, but it's not about Arka or you but about Mauren."

"Mauren?"

"Hmmm. Mauren's friend called me earlier, he asked me to meet him. Do you want to come?"

"Why would she want to meet you?"

Juna shook her head not knowing. Mauren's friend had only said that she wanted to meet him. She also asked Juna if Naya wanted to come or not because what she wanted to talk to Juna about had something to do with Arka and Naya too.

Without thinking, Naya immediately nodded. She agreed to go with Juna to meet her friend Mauren. Honestly, she was also curious about what her friend Mauren had asked Juna to meet for.

The next day Juna actually came to meet Mauren's friend Naya. Both were now at the café where they were to meet. But after almost 30 minutes of waiting, Mauren's friend did not come.

"Juna, are you sure it was Mauren's friend who called you? Not a prankster, right?"

Juna nodded. The man had even exchanged messages this morning to confirm whether or not they were meeting and Mauren's friend had said yes.

"But we've been waiting for 30 minutes and he hasn't come."

Juna had tried several times to call Mauren's friend's number but none of her calls were picked up. Feeling cheated, Juna and Naya decided to go home.

But just as they were about to get up, Mauren's friend arrived. The woman looked exhausted when she got there.

"Sorry I'm late, I had to take care of Mauren first because he wanted to commit suicide again."

"Mauren committed suicide?"

Mauren's friend was late because Mauren was planning to commit suicide again. This time by standing on the bridge, fortunately there was one of the people who reported to Mauren's friend.

"Actually, this is the reason why I invited you to meet. I met you guys without Mauren knowing. I wanted to ask you guys for a favor."

"A favor? What does that mean? You want us to take responsibility for Mauren's suicide? Hasn't Arka already paid for his actions by being imprisoned? What more do you want?" Naya asked in a high tone.

Since that was not the reason why Mauren's friend invited Juna and Naya to meet, the woman immediately explained the real reason to avoid misunderstanding.

"You guys would be shocked if you knew the truth. The truth is that Arka is innocent."

"What do you mean?"

"The person who has been harassing Mauren is not Arka but someone else."

You can see how shocked and angry Naya was upon hearing Mauren's friend's confession just now. In fact, she was so angry that she reflexively screamed, making the cafe patrons immediately turn their heads towards her.

Seeing this, Juna immediately calmed Naya down.

"How can I be calm if Arka is innocent! Why didn't you tell me the truth? Why are you and Mauren so mean? You know it's because of you that Arka has to go to jail!"

"I'm sorry. I didn't know at first either. Mauren recently told me everything."

Mauren's friend finally told him everything. Starting from Mauren who was told by someone to frame Arka and claim to have been a victim of Arka's harassment, to the results of Mauren's post mortem.  She told Juna and Naya everything. 

How angry Naya must have been to know all this. If it wasn't for Juna, she would have gone into an unbearable rage.

"Mauren was also confused as to why the post-mortem would show that she had been abused so many times, it turned out that it was because she had been abused by the man who told her to frame Arka. The bad man abused Mauren in an unconscious state. Even after confessing everything, he still continued to harass Mauren in a conscious state. Mauren felt guilty for Arka, he was forced to frame Arka because of the bad guy's threats. It was the bad guy who made Mauren want to commit suicide several times."

Juna and Naya were completely speechless. They really couldn't stop thinking that their suspicions were right if Arka was only trapped. It turned out that everything Arka said was true, the man was innocent.

"Then what favor do you want to ask from us?" Juna asked.

"I want you to help Mauren report the bad guy. Mauren and I have tried to find evidence, but you don't dare to make a report because that man is so evil. If you can help, it could help free Arka too."

"If I may know the name of the person who ordered Mauren? He must have known Arka. Otherwise, there's no way he would have forced Mauren to frame Arka."

"His name is Zack."
