Chapter 31

Today, Mr. Arka and Jenny's wedding was held. The event was held very privately, only important people came to the event, even the media was not allowed to come.

 

"Arka," his mother called to her son who was standing quietly in front of the hotel balcony window.

 

"You are very handsome," she continued while straightening Mr. Arka's tuxedo.

 

"Arka, are you sure about this marriage?"

 

"Mom."

 

"I'm sorry, I know your questions will make things more difficult for you, but I'm just afraid you'll regret it later. I want you to be happy."

 

"You don't need to think about that. I'm fine, mom. As long as you're happy, I'll be happy."

 

"Arka, hurry up, the show is about to start," shouted his father from outside the room.

 

"Mom, let's go down."

 

"You go first. I want to tidy up my make-up."

 

Arka nodded before first going to the blessing place.

"You guys are really crazy. What if you get caught?" Jihan asked Naya and Juna who had disguised themselves as catering servers.

 

"Don't blame me, Han. Your friend is crazy," said Juna annoyed.

 

"Can't you guys shut up? Looks like our plan will fail. We can't get in without the access code," said Naya sadly.

 

"I told you this wouldn't work. Never mind, Nay, you better..."

 

"No! This will work! Look at this," Naya showed the barcode that Arka's mother had just sent via message. I don't know why suddenly he sent him the barcode.

 

"We can go in with this. Juna come on, Jihan you wait here, okay?"

 

"What are your plans now?" Juna asked after they managed to enter the building.

 

"I don't know, what if it makes a mess? Come with me"

 

The event started, Arka and Jenny were standing at the altar for the blessing. Jenny couldn't stop smiling all this time, very different from Arka who only showed a flat face.

 

"Can we start now?" asked the priest who was immediately nodded by the bride and her family.

 

Naya stared silently at Arka who was proudly standing on the altar, it felt like a dream. Last night they had just met and expressed their feelings for each other but now, the man was standing proudly on the altar with another woman. 

 

"Why does it hurt so much? Should I just cancel all of this," muttered Naya, touching her very tight chest.

 

"It's not too late. Don't look at it, it will hurt you even more. Focus on our goal now, Nay," said Juna, trying to encourage her.

 

"Okay, we will start the blessing ceremony. The groom, please make your sacred vows first."

 

Arka looked doubtfully at the priest who told him to make this sacred promise.

 

"Please sir."

 

Closing his eyes for a moment, Arka tried to gather oxygen before saying the sacred promise "I am Arkana Bimantara, hereby say..."

 

"CAN YOU BE CAREFUL, CAN'T YOU?!" shouted one of the invited guests when a waiter accidentally bumped into him. 

 

"Sorry, I'm sorry."

 

"Naya?" Arka muttered quietly.

 

"Let's continue with the program," said Arka's father, who was a little annoyed by the chaos that had just happened.

 

"Okay, groom, please repeat."

 

Before Arka had time to speak, the building lights suddenly went off. 

 

"Mr. Arka, come on," Naya suddenly approached him and immediately grabbed his hand to leave.

 

"Naya?"

 

"Hurry, sir."

 

Just as they had run a few steps, the lights came back on.

 

"Arka!" Jenny shouted seeing Arka running through the crowd of invited guests.

 

"Chase them!!" 

 

"You guys go, I'll let them handle it," he said as Arka and Naya passed him.

 

"But..."

 

"Hurry. Jihan is waiting outside."

 

"Okay. Thank you Juna," said Arka, who immediately pulled Naya's hand out of the building.

 

"Where are you going? Play with me first before you chase them," shouted Juna, blocking several people ordered by Arka's father.

 

"Get out of the way brat!"

"Sir, how is it?" Naya asked panicked when several bodyguards blocked them.

 

"Move!" shouted Arka.

 

"Sorry sir but these are all your fathers orders." 

 

"Don't touch it!!" 

 

"Mr Arka!"

 

Arka fell to the ground when one of the bodyguards hit him hard.

 

"Let go, let me go."

 

"Where are you going, Naya. Hold on to him, don't let him go," said Jenny.

 

"Let go of me!! Don't touch her bitch!!"

 

Jenny smiled when she saw Arka who was helpless in her bodyguard's grip. "You think you can play games with me Arkana?"

 

"This woman has ruined our event. So what if I eliminate her from this world so that no one can disturb us?" asked Jenny while pointing the gun right at Naya's coconut.

 

"Don't you dare touch or hurt her bitch!!” Arka shouted, trying to escape the bodyguard's grip.

 

"What if we make a deal? I will let your girl go but after we finish our wedding."

 

"Tch, I will never marry a snake woman like you."

 

"Okay, that's a sign that you want your girl dead."

 

"Goodbye Nay.."

 Arka was surprised when Miss Joana suddenly came with several of her friends, hitting the bodyguards one by one using a baseball bat. He also didn't forget to grab Jenny's hair before the woman pulled out her rifle.

 

"Naya, come on."

 

"Go, Nay, let me help Mr. Arka," said Juna, who had just finished killing the people ordered by Arka's father.

 

"How is this? I'm scared, Mr. Arka and Juna, what's wrong," said Naya anxiously. He was in the car with Miss Joana and Jihan.

 

"That's them !" Jihan exclaimed seeing Juna supporting his teacher's body. 

 

"They're still chasing us. We have to go now," shouted Juna after sitting Arka in the passenger seat next to Naya.

"What is this?! I don't accept what Arka has done!! I will sue your family for deceiving me!" Jenny's father shouted angrily.

 

"Don't worry, I'll look for Arka's whereabouts."

 

"No need! I don't want it anymore. What I want now is your destruction," said Jenny, surprising Arka's parents.

 

"I will sue and destroy your company!!" Jenny continued before pulling her father's hand away.

 

"Are you satisfied? That's what you call a good woman, ha?" Arka's mother shouted at her husband, causing him to suddenly have a seizure.

 

"Your heart disease has relapsed?!"

Arka and Naya ran through the hospital corridor. A few moments ago they watched TV news about Arka's father who was hospitalized because of a heart attack.

 

"Dad!"

 

"Arka hiks in sorry. I’m SO sorry.”

 

Arka grabbed both of his father's hands "Hiks dad."

 

"No, it was my mistake hiks I'm sorry, dad. I should have listened to everything you said and your mother. I've lost everything."

 

"What do you mean Dad?"

 

"Jenny's family sued and withdrew all their shares from the company. Now the company is on the verge of collapse," said the mother.

 

"Jenny. I will repay you. Mom and Dad, don't worry, I will return everything sob. What's important now is Dad's recovery."

 

"Daddy feels very embarrassed by you Naya, come here."

 

Naya, who was standing behind Arka, started to walk closer. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being mean to you and your mother. I'm sorry."

"You only have 5 minutes left, sir!! Run faster!" Naya shouted at Mr. Arka who was running around the school field.

 

Until a few moments later, Mr. Arka lay on the side of the field because he was tired. "There's 0.5 seconds more time. You have to get additional punishment," said Naya, who immediately made the man stand up straight.

 

"What? I was only 0.5 seconds late and you gave me an extra penalty for that?"

 

Naya nodded "How about cleaning the 1st floor toilet?”

"What? You're getting revenge on me?"

 

"No."

 

"Liar! It's clear you're getting back at me."

 

"It's good if Mr. Arka knows."

 

"What?!"

 

"I once promised myself to avenge all of your punishments, and now I can finally fulfill that revenge. How does it feel to run around a field this big, sir?"

 

"Really, I didn't expect you to be this brave."

 

"You're the one who has the heart, sir. Do you think you haven't had the heart all this time? You've not only punished me, but you've also punished Juna and I'm sick."

 

"Let me know how you feel. Who told you to say Juna's name when we were alone," said Arka after pinching Naya's ear until it turned red.

"Juna," said Naya.

"Juna! Juna prawira!" Naya shouted then ran before Arka managed to pinch her ear.

 

"Naya!! Watch out if you get caught!"

 

"Come on, catch me wle... Juna, Juna prawira!!"

 

"Naya!"

 

Arka ran after Naya who kept mentioning nJuna. The field and the rain that had just fallen witnessed the beginning and end of their relationship.
