Chapter 79

"I want to go back to being a lecturer."

Naya was surprised by what her husband had just said. How could he not, after only six months working at his father's company, Arka suddenly said that he wanted to become a lecturer again. It's not without reason why Arka wants to become a lecturer, it's because according to him working as a lecturer makes his time not exhausted for work, so there is still a lot of time he can spend with his wife and child.

While working at his father's company, Arka felt that he spent more time in the office. He often came home late, which reduced his time with his wife and children.

Actually, Arka could go home or go to the office at will, he could freely go home at any time because after all, the place where he works belongs to his parents. It's just that Arka's father is a very disciplined person, the middle-aged man will not allow Arka to do whatever he wants in the office. 

Because his father has also begun to improve his condition and can even be said to have recovered, he can finally return to work so Arka doesn't need to replace him anymore. Besides that Arka was also fed up with making Jenny her secretary, she wanted to be free of that woman.

"What about your father's company? Who will take care of it?"

"Dad is back at the office. I also discussed this with my father and he allowed it."

By the way, it has been seven months since Jenny became Arka's secretary. Arka had also managed to get an investment from Mr. Smith and the company had no financial problems. She felt her work was done, which made Arka want to go back to being a lecturer.

"Where do you want to be a lecturer? At the campus where I went to college again?"

Arka shrugged her shoulders in ignorance. Actually, he wanted to return to that campus again. Don't ask him why, obviously because his wife was studying there. He had also applied for a job there but there had been no reply.

"Why don't you look for another campus? Or can you just become a teacher? Didn't you used to be a high school teacher?"

"Why?" Arka asked.

"Why what?"

"Why are you telling me to become a lecturer at another college? Why did you make me a teacher at another school? You don't want me to be a lecturer at your college anymore? Why, for fear of being caught seeing Zack?"

Hearing Zack's name brought up again in the conversation made Naya let out a long breath.  Arka was the first to start the conversation about Zack but he would also get angry in the end. That's why Naya chose to give in before her argument with Arka started.

"It's up to you where you want to be a lecturer. I will always support you."

"Oh yeah Arka, have you met Juna? He's also going to be a lecturer at my college."

Hearing this, Arka was immediately surprised. Juna was going to be a lecturer at Naya's college? How is that possible? She thought.

"Juna is a lecturer at your college?"

Naya nodded.

"How can that be?"

"Why not? Juna is smart, he graduated from a good university and his grades are also very good. He used to be an intern at his college, so it's not unusual for he to be a lecturer at my college."

"You're praising another man in front of your husband?"

Again, Naya let out a long sigh. First Zack, now Juna. Why was her husband so easily jealous of other men? 

"Let's not talk about it."

"You brought up Juna first, I didn't even ask."

"I just told you."

"But..."

Before Arka could continue, there was a commotion in front of their house. Hearing this, they immediately ran out of the house to check what had just happened.

How shocked they were when they heard the sound of Naya's car ringing. Plus there were several of her neighbors gathered in front of her house. 

"What's going on, sir?" Arka asked.

"Someone climbed over your gate just now. But now the person has run away, the complex security guard is working on him."

"You should check if anything is missing or damaged, including your car."

Arka immediately checked all the items outside the house. She also checked the windows and doors but nothing was damaged.

"Aaaaa." Until the sound of screaming was heard. 

Arka immediately approached Naya who had just shouted. 

"Naya, what's wrong?"

"That, what is it?"

Arka immediately turned her head towards Naya's view. She was shocked to see a rat carcass covered in blood under Naya's car. There was also a paper with a threat written on it.

"Shit! Looks like someone is terrorizing us."

In the writing, it was written that there was someone who would destroy Arka and Naya's household. Even that person also said that he would destroy Arka.
